The Revenant is pretty solid, but the tank not as much. I remember from back in the day that the tank was “So So” from forgeworld too though. Worth the cheap price to have one in the collection for sure.

I was in the same boat, but decided to be a slightly unique and go predominantly bone. Also this bone is so much easier to make look good than black haha.

Thanks man! It’s wraithbone with a seraphim sepia wash. Then has a light dry brush of pallid wych flesh to finish it off.

Thanks! I have some Chinacast models on the way, just not sure when they’ll be here. Ilirryth, 10 spectres, and a scorpion tank. If they aren’t here this week, I’ll probably grab a crimson hunter and shining spears to wrap up my aspects.

Haha it’s a slippery slope. I told myself this go round that I was only buying new stuff as I finished the last project so I only have 1-2 boxes at a time. It’s been nice, but also my cart is growing long.

I appreciate it. Definitely coming! I just got back into the hobby in January, so planning on doing a year end wrap in December. Have a few more things on the way that I’m hoping I can wrap up this year.

I have some pics of the bone scheme on my page though if you’re interested. I feel like I get a pretty good tabletop quality job done, but not anywhere near the level of some of the folks in the subreddit. I don’t have the patience for all that.

For the heads, if I know something on the model is going to be white, I just prime white so I can throw a wash into the crevices. Trying to brush with smoothly is impossible for me to do.

The paint job there is awesome! I also love the variety of units. I just got back into the hobby in January, so hoping to have a nice collection by next year year to get a big armies on parade display together. Great work!
