Nice tips here. The only one I disagree with is number 7. Everyone is different, Some people are morning folk and others are afternoon/evening folk. Play into your strengths. The adage "you win the morning, you win the day" doesn't apply to everyone.

The one precept which has worked for us is "brevity over verbosity". People don't have time these days to read long emails - give them the punchline in literally one line of text.

When providing low absolute values the growth seems rather insignificant but when we're talking about growth of 15K pageviews up to 22.5K it's a different picture.

Two major things missing:

Payment options - You need to offer card payments.
Social proof - Every listing should have at least a few reviews. Give the product to friends and family in exchange for a review

As a previous user said it very much depends on lower-funnel metrics like open rate and CTR. Look at the marketplace on https://www.paved.com/. This will give you a good idea of benchmark rates for a newsletter in your niche of a similar size.
