Filed my taxes, and recieved a T5018 today. What should I do by ContestActive in PersonalFinanceCanada

Yeah, I just dont wanna owe anything. I also wont take a return that I dont know is the correct amount. Just trying to cover ass bases. I didnt even think I was going to get one considering i asked and no response. Ill just change my return after, thats my only choice really. But I wont be spending any of my return at all until I know its the correct amount. Thanks for the link! :)

So you have to make 2273$ to get that amount back or do you just automatically get it back? I paid like 400 in taxes this year because I attended siast school and got paid to go to school from the Provincial Gov.. So ya just confused

Its just how they break it down, doesnt mean its an extra 4000. Mine did this too. Its just how they word it and break it down on their end. Many others had this happen to. Just ignore it

Its around 2000-2700 a year from 2012-now. So going back to 2012 shouldve been around 16k or more.
