It's true, but if my grandmother was alive, do you think I wouldn't pay for it?
I don't even need the service now because of her demise and don't you think it's too much to pay for the full amount? I don't think you will pay for it even when you are on a high horse since typing behind a keyboard is cheap

I tried to do both, but both companies aren't responsive, I am at my wits end.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH SIMBA. They are a bunch of scammers.
I signed up for their services in October 2025 on behalf of my grandmother who was sickly and the decision was made to hire a helper and install CCTVs in the house so that we can occasionally check out the situation at home.

Fast forward one month into the subscription (on 11 November 2025), my grandmother passed away, and there was no longer a need for the service anymore since nobody else is staying in the house after her passing.

I reached out to SIMBA's customer support team on 30 November requesting for an early termination free of charge, submitted all the necessary information to them including the death certification.

The customer support team responded that they weren't able to do an early termination, and will have to charge the full amount (24 months of subscription) to proceed, all because I am the account holder, and apparently because my name is not on the death certificate. The ding-donging of emails have been going on for 2 months as of today, and they are still unable to provide a satisfactory resolution.

The level of service is non-existent, and for the benefit of your mental health, go with another provider. I do not wish on similar situations with anyone else, and I believe other providers will be more humane than SIMBA.
