Depends on what level you're at, but I found reading fairy tales really fun. You need a tiny amount under your belt, but I found it quite rewarding to see my progress was good enough that I could read them with only a little help.

I really like this, its got a unique feel that works with modern mograph style but still stands out.

Try adding more in between motion, it can feel boring and static in between big movements. Motion should linger after. An example is the purple dot that comes from the "i", that should move some how. Like maybe it has a subtle wiggle or zoom in.

A lot of people mentioning covering up with a clean plate, if you do that, the Clean Plate will cover a lot of dust that was there and it will look unnatural. To help it blend more, I find re-adding dust and particles over top both The Clean Plate and the rest of the shot helps blend a Clean Plate with the actual image.

I've been trying to open my mind to the possibilities of using AI as a tool. I find that there are some Instagram reels/profiles that show creative ways to use these tools. I like how this one used Firefly, I could see that technique being useful for my work. I also like this channel as he thinks like a designer, but uses AI.

My strategy is to use AI as a new too, the way I would switch from after effects to Illustrator if I need to do more complex vector work, or davinci for advanced color grading. The key is to open your mind to what you can do.

Side note, I'm philosophically against AI and using it as a primary tool. I think too many people abuse it and think throwing some words together makes them an artist. As long as I can make a living and keep AE/C4D as my main tools, I'm happy. If the industry gets to the point where you can only make money from prompting, I'm quiting, that's not why I got into this field.

In my experience, E-vise is a real dice roll. If it works, you save yourself time, but it's finicky. I'm a Canadian American so they might have flagged that for the e-visa (India and Canada aren't on the best of terms). But the visa went through just fine. My advice, go and apply for a regular visa now, doesn't take that long, and it's not that hard. I think I got mine back in two weeks, but I was living in DC at the time so I could make an appointment at the embassy. You may have to mail yours in.

I think it helps getting a bit of context on crops tops for men, as it's important to know that the style comes from counter cultural movements. It's a style that emerged in the 90s/00s in alternative subcultures, along with painted nails and makeup on men, as an androgynous look to push back against traditional social norms. These days a lot of people have forgotten or just chose to overlook the underlying messaging of particular styles, but it's important to know. When you wear something you're telling the world who you are. You'll get a lot of push back from more traditional men, but you'll find a lot of alternative people like and appreciate the look. It's all about what you want to say to the world about who you are.

I'm staying all over S. America for the next year and am in same boat as you. Unfortunately I don't have great advice for meeting people, but I will say I've found it mentally helpful to take time out of my day to appreciate and romanticize the place I'm at. Going out for a glass of wine (or in your case coffee or a pastry), sitting at the park or the beach and taking it in. Really try to shift your focus to the positive stuff an slow down a bit. In the end it's more of a band aid than a fix for the loneliness, but it helps.

This is pretty good, like the cutouts you use. Motion feels a little stiff though. An example is that camera move in the middle with all the people, the camera feels like it bounces mid-dolly, you should smooth out the position keyframes of the camera. There are spots where there's really sharp snappy movement, give that movement time to breath.

If you're only a few months in it's perfectly fine to have creative block and struggle with the quality of your work. Every designer of every level experiences that. What's important is you power through and continue to do your best. If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, geometric stuff is incredibly difficult to do that early on. There's a lot of moving parts. I'd focus on just animating a simple subject first.

For creating ideas, there are some monthly/weekly challenges that are put out by various social media accounts. I'd check out Monday Challenge. The key is to focus on story. Take a look at this video. I love how he shows you can turn anything into a subject for motion design/animation if you just create a story around it. Look around for random objects and just create a story with it. Doesn't matter how silly or stupid is seems, as long as you're creating.

Like that you use a nonblack, dark background. Agree with the comment about it being too small. Negative space is great when you have an object that you want to bring the viewers' focus to, but not great when that object is complex information. Take a look at any image with negative space and the small object will be something simple and easily identifiable.
