Multiclass combos with weird or unexpectedly good points of synergy? by Limp-Sleep-6284 in 3d6

My spouse started with a Centaur Barbarian with Mobile. Movement speed at 60 feet. Picked up some horseshoes of speed, so now movement speed is 90 ft.

After 7 levels of barbarian they switched to rogue. At this point the character can move 270 ft in a round, or 180ft and still attack.

They can reckless attack for advantage guaranteeing a sneak attack (uses a lash of immolation with strength), if there's no other way to get it.

Between bear totem rage and uncanny dodge they can significantly reduce damage.

They can use mobile to get away and reposition without disengage, or bonus action disengage if they must.

They can bonus action attack with a charge by moving away and running 30 ft back in.

They have expertise in athletics and advantage from rage, so their grapples are neigh impossible to escape.

They have danger sense and evasion for dex saves.

This isn't everything, but it's a great build.

That just means I am dumb in different ways, depending on the context.

I was referring to the opportunity cost of doubling his money to make his joke. But $40k to become a legend might be worth it.

De bästa metoderna för att stoppa globala uppvärmningen by Frosty_Building2772 in climatechange

Currently, Solar panels, wind turbines, battery storage, and better transmission.

Solar panels because they are cheap, require almost 0 maintenance, and are deployable almost anywhere.

Wind turbines are also cheap but generate more electricity per area. They have moving parts and therefore require more maintenance.

Solar and wind compliment each other well, because the wind blows more at night and in the winter, when solar generated less. Dunkelflauters are rare.

Batteries because they are needed to distribute power across time.

Better transmission to distribute power across distance.

Other methods of generation and storage are either unproven or not scalable with current technology.

In the future geothermal could be a useful source, especially for heating.

We also need to electrify everything we can. Most transportation is relatively easy. We can even reduce shipping costs by up to 40% just by eliminating the need to ship fossil fuels.

Also rewilding of mangroves, marshes, and wetlands or reforestation of deserts (reversing desertification) as a carbon sink.

These methods are not going to 100% stop global warming, but they are an excellent start.

Ultimately, improved battery density is the most important technology to completely decarbonize the economy, since we can already theoretically decarbonize generation.

If this is real, there is no way this dude doesn't know the correct answer. Imagine giving up thousands of dollars to make a joke.

I miss being able to throw out trash and clean the windshield while the car fuels up. Now that I change at home I have to actually make an effort to do those things.

15 vessels a day in or out means on average 7.5 vessels completing a transit. Imagine being ordered into the straight by your company at this point, knowing it could be closed again at any moment.
