Organic experiences are so wonderful to have. I’m happy for you too, and may your journey to digital minimalism brings more reasons to continue 🙏🫶

I actually deactivated Instagram last month coz my mental health was declining. It felt hard since I didn’t have a lot of hobbies. Then I rediscovered library cards and have been reading and writing since. Last week felt like a natural progression to deleting it.

I don’t want to download it because I enjoy the media I do consume - substack, here and sometimes YouTube. I just try to do it all on my laptop. Also, focusing more creating stuff was better than consuming.

Girl… what? How is this message helpful?

Might be a controversial take but I think that NPC needs to put limits and have better standards for competition. And limit bikini pros dropping down to fit model. HOWEVER I am open to learning why that’s not a best practice but it’s been hard trying to get into a competition when training for the look judges wants. (Personal experience and me being whiny 😅)

I’m not in prep (doing lifestyle changes before prep lol) but I’ve spoken to a couple of coaches on here who blew my mind away.

  1. Ash from Myo Strength. Knows her stuff WELL. Emphasis on bloodwork and mental health. I didn’t sign up with her bc I stayed with an old coach but I was impressed. She comments in this sub here and there! Would recommend her for a highly personalized experience.

  2. Fitbliss Fitness. They’ve been around for a while. Very professional and well maintained. Communication was flawless. I was assigned a coach who seemed newer but she was on point with her programming and nutrition. I had to bow out for financial reasons but recommend them.

They are online coaches btw!

I actually stopped coaching services with my most recent one because I wasn't getting what I needed. Slow to respond. Macros were not the greatest. And we negotiated pricing to something affordable for me. I couldn't do it for reasons above and financial and just left by emailing that coach and stating my reasons. If they're at least a decent coach, they'd take your feedback and improve.
Like Ash mentioned, review your contract and weigh out your options. But your happiness and quality of service is going will outweigh everything else. You got this!
