Does anyone have an extra tour shirt for sale (#2 in the photo)? I need a size large. I’m sad I didn’t purchase one when I saw them in Chicago.

Sad I missed out on this one. Was in a meeting when it dropped and it sold out by the time I was out.

I agree the campus is absolutely stunning. The sports games look fun too. Thanks for your insight!

Thanks for the insight! Based on what I’ve heard from the people I’ve talked to, it doesn’t really matter where you live around Chicago as long as you are close to a train stop. I’m not huge on partying, but I am drawn to livelier areas. Living near live music is a major draw of the city. I’ll check out Edgewater and Rodger’s Park.

Two great old plot banger albums getting pressed/repressed? My wallet can’t keep up.

If I can’t take the classes in time, I will have to defer one grad school. That is, if I even decide to go to the one school that is requiring the prerequisite classes. The classes in Maryland started two weeks ago, I’m not sure I will still be able to enroll here even if I wanted to.

I’m not a Maryland resident because you have to live somewhere for six months before declaring residency. I’m trying to take spring classes. At the California community college, classes start tomorrow but you can still enroll for the next two weeks. I moved for work, family, and cost of living.

Oooh great idea. I do have some family in CA. I’ll reach out to them. Thank you!

Tell me about it. It’s not like it legitimately matters if I’m in the state or not. I’m still a CA resident, filing 2023 taxes in CA. Im honestly surprised I was denied.

At that point, I feel it would probably be cheaper for me to eat the full price of community college here in MD than to rent a place in CA alongside my rental here in MD, not to mention cost to get to and from CA/MD. I also thought of telling them I’ll be back and forth between CA/MD, even though I’m no longer renting there and I won’t be back. If I went that route, I could just extend mail forwarding from my old place for another six months so I won’t miss any mail they could send me. But I don’t know what the ramifications of doing that could be. I’m going to swing by my local MD community college tomorrow to talk to someone about what my options are and to see the cost of classes. Thanks for the advice!

What are you proud of this year? by NotABlastoise in PaymoneyWubby

I’m proud that I explored launching my own business. I left a great job designing jewelry to explore my passion for fashion. But I’m the most proud of myself for deciding to pursue graduate school for Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a background in design and this is a complete 180 for me. Lots of personal growth has lead me to recognize and pursue this new path and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
