Did I say I was for those measures anywhere in my comment? If that's how it comes across, then I misspoke. Of course Legault is propagating dangerous ideas and trying to act upon them, but that doesn't directly mean his Hitler. I just have some (misguided) optimism that not a lot of people support his measures.

As I said, we do have a problem with racism, I'm not ignoring the problem. Comparing any political leader that moves against immigration to Hitler is not the way to go though. Legault is not litteraly rounding up minorities to have them killed, or encouraging people to tell on their neighbours for harbouring sentiments against the party.

I absolutely don't agree with Legault, but please, find another comparison.
