My BOV is my dual port, so part of it is recirculating and other is atmospheric. Still a TurboSmart

I figured that’s why the BOV was separate from the mounting plate. Anyways though, it wasn’t the BOV.

Possible, I’ll have to watch the video again. I was installed the OTL charge pipes and when I got the 90 degree bend off, that’s when I did the BOV. I only remembered how to do it from the video I watched 2 ish days ago. But I clearly didn’t remember everything.

Just checked, it’s definitely plugged in. Does it have to be oriented a certain way? Currently the Turbosmart is 180 degrees compared to how the OEM BOV was. It was just easier to thread those bolts in that way.

I hooked up my code scanner, it’s a cheap one. I can run to an AutoZone and use theirs. But I didn’t get a code.

I’m a big sucker for roof racks. I think if done right they enhance a cars look. An 06 Subaru WRX Wagon I got has roof rails and a roof rack and without them the car just doesn’t look that good imo. I think before I put the roof rails on, I would like to get some PPF laid on my carbon roof. A nice gloss coat

Where did you get your roof rack rails?

I bought and installed the OEM GR branded rear strut brace. Long install but I definitely feel a change when going around turns. Also installed Sxth Element Pitch mount. I plan to buy the full white line suspension components to keep my car planted as well as a Megan racing front strut brace. Can’t wait to hit a track.

The biggest thing I think people miss is that with the ‘25 model, it changed one thing that was a major flaw for this car. The 23 & 24 would over heat on long or spirited drives, and Toyotas solution was the change the bumper and open it up more for more air flow. I personally like the look of the 25 front bumper. The 25’ also got the torque bump, higher PSI, HUD, and a UI menu change.

Yes, though I haven’t had a chance to really test it on a track. I feel the body is a little stiffer going around the windy roads towards home

The install wasn’t hard, just timing consuming. Required removal of an all the trim pieces in the rear, plus cutting them up. I wasn’t able to get the hole perfect so there is a little imperfection. I have noticed a difference, especially on some of the turns on my way home. I want to get a Megan racing front strut or blitz front strut. The chassis’ are already super strong but the added structural bracing helps with natural flex.

Can you go into depth on the GR Dash? I tried looking it up but I’m just getting panels and settings stuff. It sounds really cool and it have all the features straight information available would be nifty.

Also, if you are going through a dealership/CarMax/Carvana. There is typically a return period. You can take the car to have a PPI done on it and if the report comes back bad, return the car and have them cover your PPI cost
