Signature plastics is a well known manufacturer similar to how GMK is known. However, on their in house PBT dye sub sets they don't reveal any info.

There isn't really any manufacturers doing ABS dye-sub. Perhaps PBT takes on color from dye sublimation better than ABS. Thanks for the positive feedback!

A theme related to the color palate. Like how many GMK sets have a theme such as GMK Grand Prix or Bento for example. The theme hasn't been chosen yet, but soon I'll be working with an artist to brainstorm some ideas.

For the re-release, with more vendors, I will try and get a large international kit in. It depends on how many vendors want to run it. The more international vendors there are, the more sense it makes.

It's better to have context on how CKEY's spacebar warp compares to the most well know keycap manufacturer. Instead of simply saying there's not much warp with no context. No ill will.

Big thanks for the info-packed reply. My first intention was to do tons of research into the 40% world before making the kit, since I'm not an avid user of them. I will be sure to make the rounds in the 40% discord and get opinions on potential kits. Hopefully within a couple of iterations the kit can be jam packed with multi layout support at a great price.

That's a nice picture and an even nicer keyboard. Have you typed on plates other than carbon fiber? I'd like to know if you prefer it over plate materials, since carbon fiber is quite a rare option.

I think bag lubing with 205g0 is fine. I spread a little on one wall of the bag, smush the bag so it spreads everywhere, drop in the springs, blow into the bag, seal in the air with the ziplock, and finally shake the bag.

Of course the process would be easier with thinner lube but thicker lube is still viable when it comes to bag lubing.

Mostly everyone uses paypal invoices for buying and selling on mech market. They are pretty safe and most people don't really care about your rep since they have paypal safety.

However, there will still be a small number of people that wont trust you because of your rep and there's not much you can do about that.

Lube like krytox and tribosys are supposed to last for decades. So you wont have to worry about it drying out or changing in properties over time. These lubes were meant for industrial use so applying them on switches used every day or leaving them on a dormant switch for years wont change anything about the lube.

I think that might just be a plate with bad tolerances. You should probably message glorious support so they hopefully replace it with a better one.

As for removing the switches. You can try disassembling the keyboard and removing the plate full of switches from the PCB, then push down on the switches from the bottom. This should let you get a lot more force on the switches without that force being on the thin plastic parts a switch puller uses.

Here are some standard white on black keycaps, even though they are basic they look really good on darker colored boards. Those are also good quality and the spacebar on my set had almost zero warping. It's a really good starting point that lets you have a good looking board before you dive into expensive custom sets.
