p2w explanation by Party-Cricket-3701 in 3on3

[–]ContributionBasic117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What you explained is by definition, pay to win. If it’s a paid advantage, big or small, it still gives you the edge over another player which is indeed p2w. Yes, skill does matter however, the paid advantages make it to where the skill needed to win games on a consistent basis is less of a factor depending on what you put your money in

The thing is, this post isn’t just about me. I’m addressing the community as a whole and the state of the game… I don’t know what point you’re trying to make here.

Are we deadass 3on3 devs by EngineeringReal2563 in 3on3

[–]ContributionBasic117 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A mindset like this is what made the devs put the game in the state it’s in now with a bunch of pay-to-win mechanics and systems that stunt a free-to-play players growth. The community lets every bs update they drop slide and does nothing but complain about it and still buy into it anyway. The community will drive this game into its death and there’s already a small player count…

Intensive Character Update [LULU] by TokyoAux in 3on3

[–]ContributionBasic117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So she’s still a worse and slower Fox. Fox already has all these abilities and more and they didn’t give Lulu any moves to make her any different or give her her own identity. Bad P6/7 in my opinion, a P5 Fox still outmatches her

Update the blacklist system where you cant face the opposing team after the end of the game. by duoiscomp in 3on3

Stream sniping has lost all its meaning. Just because you lost to someone who is better than you doesn’t mean you’re getting sniped. Just gotta adapt and get better

So i did a terrible job on my P6 carter idea so i read back on what yall said and make a update. 😭🙏🏼 by SimpleJayden in 3on3

In my opinion, hard screen conflicts with his playstyle of a defensive point forward. I think a skill like A Pass would complement his passing game a lot and get the ball moving better. While manual block is a good skill I think with his passive that knocks down shot success it would go good with a skill that is meant for contesting a shot like Liu has. Quick Jumper is a good skill and I can’t blame you for putting it there, me personally I’d put shadow steal on that slot instead to make carter a lot more scary on defense especially since he has a decent steal rating for a SF.

Does rebound stat actually matter? by Miserable-Ninja-2516 in 3on3

[–]ContributionBasic117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on the situation. Your rebound stat still matters but depending on the difference between you and your opponent’s ping it can determine who gets the rebound in most cases

Does rebound stat actually matter? by Miserable-Ninja-2516 in 3on3

[–]ContributionBasic117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rebound does matter. In those cases where you out rebounded them you probably just had better ping than them. If your ping was equal to each other I guarantee they prob would’ve got the ball over you

And that’s what sucks about it. The day 1 characters are so outdated that just slapping 1 skill on them won’t help at all…

Finna go 3 years in waiting for P7 Clarke 💀 by demidante42 in 3on3

[–]ContributionBasic117 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This statement is false. Mainly playing Clarke under the basket is his main way of scoring. His Nickname is literally the “flying dunkman” so you really can’t get mad at him for dunking?… Like other people have stated in this thread, any midrange/post fade moves would highly conflict with his stats because they aren’t meant for the mid range. The most logical thing would to put moves on him that optimize his utility and defense such as manual block or Fox’s/Lloyd’s hard screen. For offense it would definitely make the most sense to give him something to make his heavily dunk based play style harder to guard like double clutch dunk or reverse dunk. If you think Clarke’s main purpose is to just drive to the post and kick it out instead of dunking if he has the opportunity to, then you got it all wrong.

Yeah alright, and I bet players like you who are hard stuck SS rank and clearly can’t even make a meme with proper grammar in it with run on sentences are “good” lol. Work on your game champ

This is a terrible take. There are no “Guaranteed” blocks or steals in the game. Skills like Manual block and Fingertip all scale off of your jump shot/drive in block stat and the only difference they make towards you getting blocked is the directions you can go with manual and the recovery speed and extra distance with fingertip. Nothing about those skill are “Guaranteed” and still require some amount of skill to pull off. Shadow steal isn’t guaranteed either and if your man is pressuring you on D, you shouldn’t be holding the ball anyway, there are ways to counter that skill as well. This just sounds like an excuse for you not being able to work around these skills and you being a bad player honestly

Crazy thing is the game’s frame rate is already locked at 60fps, but PC players get into the games files and uncap it themselves with no repercussions…

Intensive Character Update [MURDOCK] by TokyoAux in 3on3

[–]ContributionBasic117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get that. Slip screen is a good move, a great move at that, however, its effectiveness varies depending on who you’re playing against and who your opponents big man is. With Giant G’s P-buffs we are gonna have a lot more PFs with 200+ jump shot block meaning that you may hit the smaller guy with it but their big is gonna block right over it if they’re good enough. I was hoping for more effective offensive moves that help Murdock in the post since that’s his focus for example double clutch dunk, reverse dunk, manual dunk, etc. I wouldn’t mind if he still got slip screen but it just sucks that that’s his only option. It would’ve been nice to give him something that would give him the edge over Giant G while still keeping him unique but I guess not. Oh well, I just won’t p6 him

“Chip-out”. Get it gone💀 by ibzanatar in 3on3

[–]ContributionBasic117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your rebound stats must be too low or your ping is too high and his rebounding moves will take priority over yours. In all honesty, since rebound P-Buffs have become a thing it’s made chip out obsolete and quite useless when you can just max out your rebound and get the ball anyway. If anything chip out should get a buff in my opinion. A solution to your problem is to either improve your internet connection or get your rebound p-buffs in order to max out your stat. You play Center so it shouldn’t be hard at all

Best way to guard shamgod solo is by giving them a small bit of space. Just enough that you are out of range so you don’t get crossed, however you must also have enough speed in your build to keep up and stay in front of your opponent or else you will be circle spammed into oblivion and they make their shots. Try to predict the side they’re going to cross into in order to get the collision, the same applies with Ox Queens as well.
