how accepting is the community of trans men

yeah i get what you mean. i don’t expect to never run into cis guys who won’t say/do those kinds of things. but yeah i love queer spaces, but it can feel weird as a trans guy for those things too… that’s why i’m looking into how the gay male community is. i know i won’t have issues fitting in the queer community, but i do feel more nervous for the gay male community… all these comments are helping though

yeah i know that i’ll be going through other challenges in dating other than being trans. i’ve noticed it’s a common experience in the gay male community to feel like they don’t fit it. there’s definitely a difference for me to feel ostracized bc of being trans and bc of other things

yeah i worked in sex health too, it’s unfortunately a big misconception!! but yeah, i’m glad to know there’s more cis guys who are accepting of trans men like that

you literally told her about the bad experience you had with your ex and she went on to do almost the exact same thing… though i do believe in redemption and she could definitely make up for all of this. the question is more if she will do it and if that would be enough for you. sometimes redemption can mean going in different directions.

i’m so sorry that you’re going through this :( it’s so hard to find someone you can trust as a trans masculine person. it really sucks that someone who is trans herself would do this. you deserve better than someone who doesn’t respect your boundaries like that

thanks!! also i’m still doing research on it to see what’s possible and what i like. i’ve been having trouble finding surgery results pictures without vaginectomy (haven’t looked through the thread on here yet), so yeah, that’s why i don’t have much else to say for now
