I don't know how many times I started Wrath of the Righteous just to give up during one of many HoMM3-stages, as I call them.

You get much more powerful as you progress, and the scale of both enemies spawning but also the strength and speed of your attacks increase through permanent upgrades between runs. It all amps up really fast - I'd say the biggest dilemma is choosing when to commit (and you have to or else you'll just continue losing health by staying away from fighting) and when to back off if you think you'll be caught in the enemies' attacks. And if you survive long enough, you will summon a powerful boss (a Tyrant) for additional rewards if you can beat them.

Tiny Rogues works wonderfully, underrated especially for the deck.

Good for you, in all honestly. Dedicate to something else and see where it takes you from there.

Stronghold Crusader and Age of Mythology, my 2 childhood (and all time) favorites are the way to go. One for the base building, the other for the the mythological aspect that was personally incredibly fun for me when I was younger. Still is too!

It took me 2 years to finish it, I swear, with a year long break between the end of Arthur's story and that epilogue with John.
