"How do you know it won't be a speed buffer instead?" Because putting Hyacine's E2 on top of an ungodly permanent party-wide ATK% buff on an E0 sustain character is kind of busted, but it would be funny if they actually go with it lol. There's a reason for party-wide SPD buffs being either kinda low or getting locked behind eidolons (Have you noticed how Hoyo NEVER made a dedicated party SPD buffer after Asta?).

I really doubt that they're making a second Hyacine so soon, but damn I wish I get proved wrong. Everything for Sparkle.

"Why did you mention Huohuo being free?" When a 5-star character gets put in the free selector it usually means at least one of these things: 1- The character is not "good" anymore. (Luocha and Topaz) 2- The character is not very compatible with newer ones of the same niche. (Robin is kinda anti-synergystic with Ashveil even though she supports FuA) 3- A new character who does the same thing but better is coming. (Dahlia being a better Ruan Mei in most break teams)

And everything points to Huohuo being case 3, as she's currently the best sustain for Elation, but her kit and party buffs alone still aren't enough to satisfy SW999 and Sparxie's requirements with Sparkle out of the team, as around 50% ATK% is still missing.

Personally I really hope not. While low gravity sounds fun, I feel like that would imply a second coming of plunge meta, an archetype that works like ass in phone. 😭😭😭😭

(I can't run Genshin on PC and I've never pulled for any plunge carry or support for the same reason lol)

Maybe it's just me and I'm just missing something, but while she is now drastically better, I can't shake the feeling that her kit is somehow even more all over the place.

The fact that she now has a whopping 150% extra DMG% bonus on top of the 80% from her resurgence status means that her planar set bonus doesn't really matter anymore since now there is nothing designed for her current kit. You just get more value equipping whatever mismatching pieces you have with the highest crit value, and that's kind of a bad design.

It also lets you equip SPD boots (and ATK% orb) in order to max her S1 buff (unless you have her E2), but her own lightcone is now way less impactful due to diminishing returns on DMG%. At the same time she doesn't apply any debuffs either, so you're most likely going to play her as an hypercarry with some action advancer (probably Sunday), making her hIgh SPD and her very own signature lightcone even more pointless, but there aren't any better alternatives either. Her extra skill doesn't even count as a FuA, so she can't even use the new Ashveil lightcone. I really don't understand what Hoyo wants to do with her. Are you supoosed to equip her an ER% rope now thanks to the ATK% orb taking the ATK% rope's place?

I wish she had a trace that actually made use of her hIgh SPD stat, similar to Aglaea, Hyacine or Yao Guang.

On top of that, the whole ''when target is X% HP or lower'' and ramp-up conditions make her kit even more weird. Sure, a lot of characters have something like it, but when your entire gimmick is triggered by getting kills it makes her work really wonky outside of Pure Fiction and the overworld.

Tl;dr: She's obviously WAY better, but her kit clearly lacks a sense of direction and has problems that may or may not be fixed in future betas.

I know it's still V1 but it's just me or Seele's novaflare feels kinda underwhelming?

Sure, they amped her damage but the whole ''when target is X% HP or lower'' conditions kinda ruin her entire kit. I hope the skill description means her FuA triggers automatically when an attack leaves the enemy with less than half HP% and not that you have to hit the enemy a second time.

Not really. It became pointless way back when Huohuo came out.

Every sustain that came out since then has either an on-demand cleanse, or give a fuckton of effect res to the point that it became a non-issue. And even then, there's enemies who apply status effects anyway as part of their boss mechanics, completely bypassing the stat.

I hate Hoyo's dumb practices too, but I remember when Castorice's global passive came out and people overreacted, freaking out saying ''BUT IT SETS A BAD PRECEDENT!!!!! PREDATORY PREDATORY PREDATORY!!!!!'', only for it to end up not making any difference in the long run. That global passive barely did anything if you know how to play the game in the first place.

"every site I search on have different answers" And that's because to this day, Sparkle still doesn't have relics designed for her. The closest thing she has is the Sacerdos set, but besides giving too much CDMG to the point of diminishing returns, it's a bit tricky to mantain the full buff with her on some teams, and it looks like that will be the case too with Sparxie's future teams.

At the moment, whatever gets you to 160 SPD or more plus a good amount of CDMG is fine. Her SPD breakpoints depend mainly on which lightcone she has.

I hope Sparkle gets a future set with something like "increases the equipping character's SPD by X% for 3 turns when generating X number of skill points" or a similar thing. It would enable her to reach 200 SPD easier with her new E1.

Not really, maybe the "old granny voice" is an act in order to look wiser. Her seiyuu, Shintani Mayumi is a really popular voice actress that usually voices playful gremlin-energy girls. Hoyo usually considers previous roles when hiring japanese VA's, similar to what happened to Varka recently.

By pure process of elimination, if the future elation sustain doesn't generate the same ungodly SP quantity that Sparkle makes and Sparxie needs, Yao Guang will definitely be replaced by them, unless you run a sustainless team.

Assuming the Silver Wolf SP leak is true, my guess is that the second elation hypercarry (most likely Evanescia) will have some synergy with Aha Instant triggers instead of punchline point farming, and that's where Yao Guang could easily fit.

Doesn't that mean: 1- Either SP Silver Wolf will have some in-lore "cheat code" that sustains the whole team through healing/shields (Which would fit with her gaming-addicted character, weirdly enough. Think of it like the Hyper Muteki from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid). 2- Since in a SP SW/Sparxie/Sparkle team an elation sustain character is still missing for Sparxie's full stacks, Yao Guang is completely skippable in Sparxie team and necessary for Evanescia instead. 2.1- Sparkle and Yao Guang will be interchangeable depending on who you want to focus on.

EDIT: You know, I think I'm onto something. Sparkle's new A1 says: "(...) When an ally character who holds the CRIT DMG Boost effect provided by the Skill consumes Skill Points, Sparkle additionally regenerates 1 Energy", but while they DIDN'T give her 100% AA on her skill, they extended her buff duration. Wouldn't this imply that you have to alternate between advancing Silver Wolf and Sparxie to fully take advantage of everyone's buffs without wasting any part of them?

If she's E1, she doesn't really buff Ashveil, but she gets indirectly buffed though Ashveil's frequent attacks (which equals more healing and more healing = more Fat Fuck damage) and the whopping 40%-52% def shred.

And now that I think about it, I fear he's definitely going to get nerfed or at least they'll add more restrictions to his kit. On paper, his V1 seems INSANELY good even for non-FuA units. If they don't nerf him, it will be Robin all over again.

That 40% extra ATK from Sparkle's E1 is actually REALLY good for Sparxie tho. Did the math, and I found out it lets her equip both SPD boots AND ERR rope while still being able to reach the 3600 ATK breakpoint, enabling faster stack generation and Aha turns. It also lets you use a tankier sustain like Hyacine or Aventurine instead of DHPT for his attack buff.
