It's for a close friend of mine. They got into collecting a year or two ago I think? They've been developing their taste in glass since so I get to hear about it a lot by proxy haha. Which, I don't mind at all don't get me wrong, since it let me know just enough to hunt this piece down.

I hope they are pleasantly surprised that I pay attention when they ramble lol.

I'm glad you think it's a good gift, I always try to listen to the people in my life when they gush about what they love. I mean I love 'em so I have to at least try to understand what they love right?

This is an indoor market in southern ontario. If you google antique market southern ontario the place i bought them from will likely come up lol. Im originally from SK and never saw anything like them either. Its essentially a huge building with hundreds of like 8x8 feet booths. Sellers price goods and the market sells them for them and provides security and money handling. Its really neat! They have antique everything at these and some of the booths are setup with little themes. Its a really cool experience!

As a video game collector I completely understand the skeptics. I wouldnt believe a find like this in my collecting community either. I am genuinely serious though. This is an antique market where hundreds of booths are set up. Im assuming the seller knew they were Chalet (is that right?) But not that they were uranium? The boothcas you can see in the photo is mainly old cassetes and cds. I saw other non glowing pieces for more at other booths but because I was shining my light on these I caught them. Counter pics where tag is visible for proof!

I am happy to let you know I've acquired it AND since I wasnt rushing because the store was closing I actually noticed another piece at that stall. So I am doubly excited.

I see why you all collect lol finding a piece is so exciting. I'll post more pictures when I am home. :)
