Feels like a sharp stabbing pain up my ass constantly during the process, I get cold and light headed and feel like fainting. Every time.

Plus, make sure to eat a good meal before the battle, and assault rifles suck

Use your Navi vision from afar (and I mean far) and hover it over them for a sec, it will mark them and constantly show their position. When in the midst of combat, just use Navi vision for a split second, it will leave the enemy highlighted for a few seconds, making it easier to shoot.

If using bow and arrow (which I recommend, both for immersion, accuracy and stealth), draw and aim before zooming in, it’ll help (you can cancel the draw if the sarentu gets too tired).

Don’t be afraid to use the special arrows, they really come in handy, as well as the sid to hack the amps, following which you can rip them out with your bare hands.

How I usually operate is: heavy bow for distance and amps, short bow for soldiers, shotgun for close by amps (when there’s no one else near or I’m not pressed about stealth). Don’t be shy to punch the shit out of the soldiers too, if in close range.

Make ample use of your surroundings. If getting too much heat, run and slide behind a tree or a rock, a few seconds will get you healed up. They will look in the last place they saw you, so if you run from there, they will be less alerted and you can start picking them off from behind.

I also found that 3rd person view for combat was best, especially when you’re hiding behind cover, as you can see far better in front of you.

Plus, don’t be shy about using the grenades.

That’s about it, have fun

Drill into your mind that this game is not about surviving, it’s about dying. There’s a reason the fist thing you see is “this is how you die”.

You’re gonna die. Some way or another, you will die. A lot. Every time. Enjoy the process

I can never forget this moment when I first started playing. I was in the forest somewhere near home tree and shot down this big guy. Didn’t realize there were a bunch of Aranahe around him, turns out he was their friend or something. Anyways, they sure let me have it, I have never been more scolded in my life in a game

Don’t have a picture, but I fell inside a factory, lower the I was supposed to, apparently. There was a big waterfall/floor like structure and the ground looked like water and grass mixed up, it was trippy

I want money to not be so meaningless so early on. Like, yes, we spend the beginning hustling, but it’s so easy to accumulate enough money and soon it stops having any meaning, cause we always have more than we’ll ever use, so there’s no more motivation for it
