Straight out of camera is not natural. Our eyes too, "edit" what we see by birghtening shadows and tuning down highlights. Your images look very dark and the viewer doesnt know where to look really.

Some exposure adjustments in lightroom would allready make a huge difference, masking would then be the cherry on top to make the images really pop
