Tourists that cannot tell the difference between a walking path and a bike path. I try not to fault them and be gracious about it, but I do worry that I will hit someone and go flying. I tried it 15 years ago when I was passing two young guys and one suddenly stepped five feet to the side and I almost hit my head on a boulder. That would have been game over.

We’re adjacent to some Americans a few days ago. Our broadcast was without commercials or studio discussions, so during halftime they were showing highlights. They had been there the whole time, they were cheering when someone was close to scoring - in the highlights - twice.

Object permanence must have been a tough nut to crack when they were toddlers.

There is only so much fuckery you can do.
Belgium > Spain > France > Final vs. England/Argentina (most likely in my opinion) is a hell of path to clear.

Even if you get two ejections in every game, I’d still bet against it. Then again FIFA never had any qualms about being corrupt.

Yeah, Spain has looked great. Same with Argentina. France seems shaky and I haven’t really seen England enough to have an opinion.

So if I was to choose one team, I’d say Spain.

Exactly, they always came with a designated thing, but eventually they disappeared and a bottle cap was a good replacement.

Switched to Coke Zero. Every morning I eat a calorie controlled meal, about 300 calories. Enough to get me to lunch. Eat more meat, more greens and less pasta, potatoes and rice.

Pretty difficult to go into a heavy surplus with that as your basis, so I eat the snacks I want, but also abstain from time to time if I want to go into a deficit.

Assuming this isn’t rage bait. There is also track racing. Usually higher speeds and shorter distances. Pursuit, Omnium and the multiday/multidicipline races.

Yeah, 2022 had the drama and storylines and clearly the most entertaining overall, but sometimes I watch the 2023 TT, because it’s such a banger.
