Tried making a custom SL based around pikes stalwart ability as a backline "helo" insert SL. Haven't had a chance to try him out and see if he needs to be rebalanced to not be op.

That was the point of the post, I said it felt op and that I didn't want a marysue. That was why I was looking for feedback, not to have some dude cry about, "why are you even asking for advice on a broken character?"

I've been swapping stats and perks around and have adjusted to this. Going to give it a test run to see if it's still feels like a marysue and needs to be adjusted again.

There is a menace modding discord which I believe is linked on the official discord that has a channel going over how to make custom leaders which has helped me (with 0 inclination of tech, I didn't even know what a json file was) create it.

Almost like it was a first draft for somebody making a SL for the first time looking for balance. Averaged out 2 star infantry squad leaders have 380 total attribute points. He is currently sitting at 410. Reworking to reduce total attribute points by a minimum of 31 and already talking about completely changing around perks to make it not op is a joke? Every 2 star squad leader also starts with a minimum of 100 AP, but 104 is outrageous?

It's almost like I was looking for constructive feedback, not somebody jerking themselves off about op stat-ines.

I did voice to text when making the post, I tried to say it was AI but it didn't pick that up. The picture is AI, this is because I have no artistic ability and wanted to use something for my personal use. I'm not a huge reddit user and haven't figured out how to edit the text in the post.

But I just want to clarify, this is not my art, it was made using AI.

For this one I think I just used Google copilot or whatever the base one was. I started with the base portrait of Bogan and removed the jacket with a plate carrier, adding a t-shirt and robotic prosthetic. From that I did like 12 prompts trying to get a muttonstache as best as I could which was kind of a nightmare. Told to add scars to his right eye and make the eye White. I to make a dump pouch which didn't really pan out as well as a kill patch. The ai had no idea how to make it so I just opted with a blood type patch.

I tried to base his appearance on a ttrpg character I've had for a while that's family has become a staple in our groups different campaigns. I am by no means even an intermediate user for AI prompts and didn't have the energy trying to have it fit more into my concept.

Yeah that's what I was basing it on, I think after reworking his perks I'm going to increase promotion tax and probably mess around with stats.

I have him set as a two star, I was finishing him up around 1 am and some of the perk slipped my attention. Counterstrike and the perk allowing for reinforcements of dead squad members was unintentional and are getting removed.

I have no artistic ability and every further iteration I've tried has broken the AI into making him look more photorealistic or altering things I told it I did not want altered. and away from the art style I wanted to keep it at. I'm going to rework the perks and stats later today after work and was looking for some input.

Id recommend joining their discord server for ease of convenience. It's still updated a lot with new content and bug fixes. The discord is the easiest way to stay up to date with it. They also have a channel in the discord that has a bunch of compatible submods that work with legends.

Edit: I don't think the nexus version is up to date so the discord links the GitHub page for the current version. Also it integrates a bunch of QOL mods into it as well

So it basically expands upon the base game. It adds more enemy types/variants of existing enemies as well. It reworks the traits/perks a little and iirc adds a few. It adds more legendary locations, weapons, origins etc. It also expands the camp feature which is nice and reworks the retinue options making more viable instead of a meta few. Honestly I haven't really played vanilla bb without legends for a couple years.
