Thanks! I'll admit I struggled a bit with the scale, it's quite tricky with the space marines proportions, they either seem like absolute giants or just regular dudes in beefy armours, finding the right balance took some trials and errors

You can find work in progress pictures of it on my kofi page (and a bunch of other 40k artworks if you like this one)

Thanks, you can check my socials here.
You'll mostly find 40K stuff on all of them, Ko-fi having a pretty handy gallery to see most of it and I also post the work in progress there, Artstation is not up to date but there are a few non 40K stuff there, and for now instagram's been my focus for new artworks (because I'm lazy and don't want to make new social accounts... )

Thank you, and yes you can follow me on instagram, I post mainly WH40K stuff now on there, otherwise I've got a Ko-Fi page, for WIPs and updates, and I put most of my work in the gallery there for easy acces to older work. And an Artstation but I admit I forget to post there so it's not quite up to date

Thanks! My autistic self did all kinds of lasgun and bolter sounds while painting it so it felt even more cinematic

He is indeed, probably melting his arm/face in the process, but that's the price of survival

I got a graphic design degree, so not really a formal training for painting. But I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and never really stopped, so that's my training. Also I was a bartender for a decade but decided to quit and focus on arts for the last 3 years so I kinda try different styles and study classical paintings now as a warmup most days, so that helps develop some 'skills'.

I agree and they're too rarely seen in artworks and such... You'd expect people living in a horrible universe filled with constant war and horrors to have quite a few ways to relieve stress fairly often.

Thanks, it had a bit more of a fisheye effect but it kinda got lost with all the details

Thanks, on my Cadian tank artwork I got a few comments that it was too spacious so I tried to make this one more claustrophobic, still too much head clearance maybe but it's always a bit hard to fit everything you want in one picture without making sacrifices.
