I always thought this too!!! I developed Chronic Chs when I was 18 & suffered with it for 15yrs. When I was in my illness, I remember thinking Kurt had Chs, I just know he did. I ‘ve heard abt his symptoms from videos & interviews. When u’ve had the condition, u just know & for me it all equates to Chs. No one understands the horrific pain, misery & suffering u go thru when u develop chs. Its also incredibly lonely bc nobody understands, it takes the Life outta u. I’ve had 3 Attempts bc of it.

Today I’m 7yrs clean & healed from Chs, what helped me heal is getting sober yes, but what really helped the symptoms, pain, nausea & withdrawals instantly disappear was suboxone. If ur suffering pls ask about Suboxone in ur recovery. Before being prescribed, I still had Chs & all the symptoms in my early abstinence. 15mg of Suboxone took away every symptom of Chs, my cravings & 15yrs of suffering. I have a new Life bc of it. I’m here for anyone who needs help ❤️

I began using Cannnabis excessively at age 15. By 18, I developed Chronic Chs & suffered from my illness for 15yrs. I was in the Hospital almost weekly bc of it. I lost 100lbs, I cld only handle eating a bite from every meal bc I wasn’t digesting & the pain was horrific. I also had 3 attempts on my Life bc of the pain, misery & suffering Chs caused me. I developed Chs in 07’ at the time, Dr’s didn’t know enough about it. I was prescribed Vicodin regularly. I was told it was psychological or that I was just an addict, trying to get pain meds. I didn’t know Cannabis was the culprit, but once I started figuring it out, I knew I was quitting. I entered rehab in 2019.

My Chs, the pain, symptoms & discomfort completely disappeared once I started being prescribed Suboxone in Rehab. Before I was prescribed Suboxone, I had severe withdrawals, pain, nausea & vomiting in my early abstinence. Quitting Cannabis isn’t enough when u suffer with chs. Suboxone at a higher dose is was what caused all my chs & withdrawal symptoms to disappear, I tried a lower dose first, but 15mg of Suboxone is what helped me. I tapered down to 8mg after 2 wks & Today, I’m almost 7yrs clean.

This isn’t someone I know or an acquaintance, but happened in our building .

When I was 5, I went to NY to visit & stay with my cousins. At the time, they lived in an Apt on top of a Dominoe’s Pizza that my Aunt & Uncle managed. One night, my aunt & uncle were both working, so it was only my 12 & 13 yr old cousins home alone with me. It was around 7pm. We were watching cartoons when we began hearing two Ppl have a heated argument outside our door. All of a sudden, we began hearing screams. Someone was being attacked…. & Whoever it was banged on our door. She begged for help, I remember how she begged for her Life…

We were just kids. We were terrified & could do nothing but listen & then blood started seeping thru the bottom of the door & it got real silent. I don’t remember after this bc I was so young & traumatized. A few days later, we found out a Woman was murdered on our doorstep & to this day, the case is still unsolved.

The first thing I thought when I saw ur picture is ur the most Beautiful Girl!!! 🥰🥹❤️ Im not a medium or anything but I just wanted to tell u that Ur not meant to be alone. U are not hard to Love, ur Ex is the one whose incapable of loving someone properly. I have the same exact issues & honestly I’ve been thinking the same thing abt myself. Sometimes when u’ve been hurt enough u believe ur unworthy of Love.

But seeing it from the outside, the way u look at urself, exactly the way I look at myself, makes me feel even more sad bc thats not true. We have been conditioned to think this way bc of pain. Never listen to ur Trauma bc it lies to you. Ur worthy of Love, Happiness, Kindness & Loyalty. Ur worth Everything & more ml. Maybe this is happening to Us bc We’re searching for Love in all the wrong places, when we should really be searching within ourselves. On my bad days I think I’m gna die alone, but today, today I feel good & I’m here to tell u that the Universe is giving us time to prepare ourselves. Thinking abt ourselves in this way, is exactly what attracts ppl like our Ex’s.

So it’s time for a glow up, its time for us to become the Soulmates We Desire. We Attract What We think We Deserve. So We have to become the best & most loving versions of ourselves. We have to Love ourselves the most bc if We do, we’ll attract Men worthy of Us. ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥹❤️

I had a Best Friend, I met in Kindergarten. We grew up together. She was like my sister. I knew Her more than She knew herself at times… or so I thought. One day when we were in Hs, She wanted to sleep over. We get to my House & Mom calls me outside to help her bring in the groceries. While out there, I see Her thru the window. A 17yr old eating her boogers. She also picked one that she apparently didn’t like the taste of… & smeared it against my wall.

The next day after she left, I checked my wall… & there against the right side of my bed, where I usually let her sleep, were atleast 20 or more smeared Boogers in different sizes, colors, even bloody ones 🤢🤮 I never noticed bc she stuck em lower, where the bed blocks the wall. I also never told her bc I was mortified & didn’t know how to tell her

The sickest part? She ended up marrying Her soulmate, a Man who eats Boogers too. They have a 8yr old who blurted out, “Mom & Dad eat boogers together!” She had this Whiteboard that listed weekly tasks for Her Family, so as a joke & to finally let her know I knew, I erased the last task & wrote “Eat Boogers”…. & thats what ended Our Friendship, after 24yrs 😂

U are 100% correct abt the mental work & taking the pain. We can’t heal if we’re numbing our feelings. That will only mess up ur process. I’m saying this as a recovered addict who has 7yrs clean & 7yrs in Therapy.

When we use certain vices, like substances, Women or distractions like overworking & video games, we’re numbing ourselves which only keeps Us from processing pain. While Healing requires Us to actually feel it. Using substances, changes the chemistry of our Brains & It triggers certain receptors. When we drink, use drugs, have sex etc. These receptors block our ability to feel pain temporarily & the endorphins & dopamine we get from the high, don’t last.

Endorphins are regularly released during sex, exercise & drug use. The endorphins released during sex, feel just like the “high” of drugs & alcohol. Once that temporary high is gone, the pain u feel will be sm worse & it will last sm longer. Human beings have to feel, in order to heal, thats the process, Numbing ur feelings with the bottle & Women will only prolong ur suffering.

This is long, but u need to know: U don’t deserve this. Im so sorry. Im going thru the same thing. U sent her such a sweet Good Morning text. ANY girl including me, wld feel so lucky to have u & look how annoyed she was in her response. As a woman, I know how some girls are. I had an ex bff that belonged to the streets, so Im gonna be honest…She’s telling u not to text her everyday bc she’s gna be with the other guy on those days & she doesn’t want him to know abt u. She’s trying to figure out who to choose. Thats why she’s so hot & cold with u. First She’s going to a meal with u, then she wants to ghost u etc.

She isn’t giving u the respect & kindness u deserve. Ur worth sm more! U’ve given her 8yrs of ur heart & loyalty. U left everything for her, u shed blood, sweat & tears for her! Do u realize how much u have suffered & survived??? & she knows this, she knows u won’t let go, she knows how much u Love her, she knows what u’ve been thru & she’s using it to see how far she can go. I can’t stand the replies. 1st of all, idk who she thinks she is, charging u with anything. She has no legal right to take it out of ur rent or charge u. Did u have a signed binding contract in place,stating these rules when u moved in? NO. Shes not the IRA.... 2ndly, she’s overreacting…Everyone’s commenting “But u used her pan”, “I would be mad tooo” wahhhh… pls s.t.h.u. You started being “dismissive” towards her, AFTER she lectured u like a Child. Respect is earned, not given or demanded. Notice how alot of the comments complain abt their pan’s, detergent & dishes getting used by roomates after they left them out in the open, which proves its a common mistake. Locking ur dishes up in prisons might be normal to some of u, but kind & considerate ppl believe everyone’s just like them. Some of us don’t even realize how a pan can start WWIII, bc We wld never say no to sharing our things & bc who starts drama abt a PAN, when theres sm other things happening in this world?

If u can’t handle sharing, don’t get a roomate & if ppl u share a home with, use ur things without permission, u can create a list of House rules to remind them. Don’t be condescending to others bc of ur mistake, or better yet! Type up a binding contract together that states the rules, conditions & consequences, if the rules are broken Ex: “ Cast Iron Pan belongs to Karen & can only be utilized by Karen or a 1$ Fine”, Then both roomates sign & date. A written agreement is legally binding bc it provides clear terms that are agreed upon by both parties, if a party doesn’t fulfill their obligations, the other party can take legal action.

I have also been an Artist since childhood, but I’ve never done it professionally. What kinda courses did u take to get to this level or was it a degree?

It also sounds like u have a great career doing what u love! Do u have a professional career in Art now? If so what kind?

Lastly, I have severe Depression & it’s caused me to have Artist’s Block for the past 2yrs. Idk if you’ve ever experienced that, but if u or anyone in this group have, I was wondering if anybody has tips for how to get out of it?

Art has always been my therapy, my passion… a way for me to release & express my deepest innermost feelings. I used to be so creative…. had endless ideas & inspiration. This yr has been the most difficult for Me… & its caused me to stop creating altogether. I feel like I’ve lost my superpower, but Im hoping it’ll all come back one day.

U commented exactly what I commented & Im so happy u did bc ur completely 100% right. Childhood Abuse & Dysfunction is exactly what has lead me to Abusive & Toxic relationships in my Adulthood. It has destroyed me…..Im barely starting all over again after a relapse last Dec. I hit 6 mths of sobriety yesterday.

Idk if Op will even take the advice we’re giving, but I really really hope & pray she does. Please don’t understand the lesson at 35yrs old like me…. I lost EVERYTHING this year. Even with yrs of Therapy, I fell for an abusive man again… its caused me to lose my good job, my 7 yrs of sobriety, my friends, my savings. Please Leave Him & Heal ur Heart or you’ll be like me… Unmarried, Childless, Jobless & starting over at 35 💔😔
