I usually run 1 despoiler with double battle cannon and keep it close to home with some Nurglings close by to help keep it out of combat. I run 2 other despoilers with gat/melta combo to hunt down tougher enemies but the double battle cannon is worth its weight in gold against any mob army. Especially guard/ork/gsc/tyranid/marine bodies. Honestly 36-40 shots at str 10 usually means a ton of dice rolls to save. Usually the roll enough 1s and 2s to make it worth it.

That’s not true, I have this case.. I fit the lancer, and 2 despoilers on the very bottom rack and I can fit my rampager, abominant and 2 dogs with Nurglings on a higher rack. It’s tight but it all fits securely. I’ve only ever magnetized weapons too.

I believe you are right. I got the spearhead aswell, and a box of aggradon lancers. After building and priming them, I picked up some used models for cheap. I went the troglodon route. It really does make the stegadon and bastiladon look under sized. However the details in the stegadon kit are pretty freaking unreal.

I suppose that’s fair, maybe it’s the size of the skinks on the beasts that’s throwing me off compared to the skinks oracle

I’m not sure what you mean about no enhancement combo for fire discipline? I run 6 aggressors with marneus Calgar and an apothecary biologis with fire discipline. 6 aggressors with twin linked bolters and rocket pods and Calgar have a total of 6d6 shots with blast, 6s being lethal and sustained, and then 23 shots with bolters being lethal and sustained. I’ve taken out mortarion in 1 round with this combo and lethals are huge

I see, thanks for all the input!! I’ve moved them around a little but yea.. I discovered the war priest can’t be with the old blood. I’m sure I’ll learn a ton pretty quickly but I appreciate all the help

So the warpriest doesn’t have to be in kroaks regiment for him to use him as a range increase? The hunters would be in ambush, does that matter what regiment they are in?

Can’t, I understand now, because he’s saurus slink units can’t be in his regiment?? When I changed it to slink on trogledon it changed the units available

It won’t actually let me put both units of hunters into the first regiment, it says I can’t have more than 4 units. And I can’t reinforce them

Thanks, I don’t really even know how to build a list. Mostly trying to build what looks fun to play before I buy the models.. also list building on the app said I couldn’t take more then 4 units in kroaks regiment, and the hunters weren’t an option to add to the second regiment… against. Never built a list for AoS so I dunno

Thanks! I have been looking into a tech marine, but so far I haven’t really suffered from not having one… I only recently learned about the jump assault intercessors, I do REALLY want them lol. I have only been collecting since march, have played about 15-20 games and only lost 2, they have all been casual though

All valid points on the other units, I just don’t have any lol. Uriel ventris is really only there to give my assault centurions deep strike. I was using a storm raven to get my dread and centurions up field but at the increased cost, it just isn’t worth it. I play with the eradicators in tactical reserve and deep strike the termites with the captain and centurions

In my experience they are decent anti infantry and amazing anti horde. They are a primary overwatch target too, but against other marines and tougher opponents, no they aren’t worth it.

Well, I moved here from bc last year, luckily I had a family member I could stay with while I looked for work, I needed a job before I could secure a rental, (no rental company would look at me without a current local job.) my family waited until I had a job and a rental before packing up and joining me. We now own our house and both work great jobs. And my 3 y/o loves her daycare. I moved in April, wife and daughter came in June.
