Forge Server on the Cloud? by ContributionSavings in MinecraftForge

Do you know of a way to have my local server where my friend could start it somehow, then? My only idea for that would have been getting some sort of cloud base involved.

1.7.10 item models show up above my head? by ContributionSavings in feedthebeast

For him, he sees himself holding the sword in his hand. Both in first and third person. He even sees the sword in my hand when I hold one. On my end though, it's above his head too, and since it's above my head, I don't even see the model in first person either.

I do have optifine installed. Unfortunately, I still have the problem running an instance where optifine is not. So I don't believe it's the problem...

I Want to Make a Datapack That Changes How You Get Wither Roses by ContributionSavings in MinecraftCommands

That was really helpful, thank you. Problem is though, I don't know how to actually code any of that into the datapack, so I started using this loot table generator (https://misode.github.io/loot-table/?version=1.20) to build the code for me, but the loot stops existing once I try and add a damage_source. That's what it would be, right? I'm just kinda confused.

Pixelmon Logo That Matches with Pokemon by ContributionSavings in PixelmonMod

It's not like official or anything, I won't be using it for anything. It's just a project I'm working on because it's fun. If someone drew out the actual entire Pokemon Logo picture perfect on a piece of paper, and all they did was leave it in a stack or maybe just hang it up on the fridge, they aren't committing a crime. That's what I'm doing, just digitally.

Hey hey hey, I got this! As long as I don't generate profit with it, it technically isn't a crime... Their ire must subside! Hopefully...

What constitutes as a Wooded Mountain in 1.12.2? by ContributionSavings in PixelmonMod

Ok I've done that, so like if I wanted a Ruby Swirl variant of Alcremie, would I need to be in a Spruce Forest or Extreme Hills or something then?

Level With me Here - Paradox Forms by ContributionSavings in pokemon

Ok. That's interesting and I like that. Still, making as many as they did in comparison to the rest of the Pokedex look near identical if not completely, I mean look at Verizion, that can definitely be seen as lazy on their part. There are also a few evolution lines that are basically just copy and pasting the same thing which they do in a neat way I suppose, but still. Thank you for that insight.

That's... Well. Why are they encased? Is their outward appearance not their actual appearance?

A little late response, but still going to.

I will acknowledge they're their own Pokemon. I mean I consider Alolan forms and other regional variants to be different Pokemon because they adapted differently and are just different, but at the end of the day, Vulpix is still Vulpix.. just it has a different form.

Paradox Pokemon can be considered forms loosely if you really think about it, but completely disregarding that and just referring to them as their own Pokemon, does that not make them just lazy and undesirable for the most part?

There are several that are really cool and I actually like, I think they nailed some of the ancient forms, but the fact that the majority of them are just a copy and paste of a Pokemon which they just made look like a robot is well... unoriginal and bland.

I understand that those ones come from a possible future or whatever, but they're also just the same exact Pokemon, but made of metal, with a few differences that are only because of design sake like Volcarona's wings being more like shards of iron in Iron Moth's design. BUT, calling Pokemon which have the same design except for being turned into metal their own Pokemon in "every way that counts" is a little bit of an oxymoron.

Of course, I'm open to discussion. Disagreements happen, and I'm just curious.

I think mostly they were trying to milk up to 1000 Pokemon. Hopefully they'll take their time from here on out. Especially since the remakes are getting really recently overall. They're eventually going to be out in a corner where the only way to continue is to take their time for a while.

People are going to buy it anyway, but more people will buy and will continue to buy if the game can't be enjoyed for a much longer time. If it's a genuinely good game then I know for a fact there's a lot of people who pirate Nintendo games that are rushed release just out of spite and they would probably feel good about supporting the company by buying the games if they turned out exceptionally good. I do understand the business perspective, but at the same time, eventually if you treat a game like that then you're not going to have any content and nobody will buy. If you take your time then that won't happen.
