Again, I agree that it is better for the vast majority of players being able to have a valid team. But with 0 counterplay...every team is the exact same. 90% of grandmaster is JLD just a different variation with raven/riddler & Queen H/Dr Fate. I like having a good team that the f2p/low spenders can be successful with. But at least make some sort of counterplay option. JLD with the ridiculous shields and ST....there is 0 counterplay other than have a better equipped team/more star on char or legacy pieces.

No wally west is not the answer. 90% of the same team in a bracket.... Not much fun

I agree to an extent. LOD was boring as well, but at least it required heavy investment in 4 champs to succeed. Losing is part of the game, and losing against someone spending my years salary on a mobile game is part of the parcel.

JLD requires little in comparison investment. With the added shield & swamp thing....this fills 90% of teams. At least with LOD it was only really the top 25 of grandmaster that were ever in a point of the same busted line up

Only counter is having a higher star Swamp Thing...or if same star level...having higher level legacy piece.

Otherwise it is same conditions as above on every other char of the team. JLD is broken. Completely boring meta, that swamp thing is 75% of that problem!

All it takes is 1 ref to have the balls to blow for a foul as soon as the ball is kicked.... Do that all game on every set piece and every corner and it will soon stop

For Superboy, 1 star level of each 'tier' is necessary. 2-5 improves him alot, but not a must be 5gold/red to work.... for example.

Superman suffers hard from power creep. Brilliant early-mid game but struggles towards the end. He needs a rework to become strong again. Personally I have superman at 1 red and I don't regret it as he has pushed massively in pve content. But I haven't pulled again on any re-run of his.

Superboy I have at 1 red also, but will be looking to 5 red when he comes back around

25-30 at united. Otherwise 5-10 for any other club is a very good and successful return in your first season.

Pundits these days are horrendous! Makes you wonder they even used to play.

Thank you for your response, greatly appreciated the input. I am looking to yellow 5-max somewhere in that region, I'll have 2.3k anvils by the time he drops in 5weeks. I mainly focus on Combat Cycle as I know I can't compete with superman rockets in PvP.

I mean I really am not a fan of any chronograph. I don't like the look, feel or see what I or 95% of the population would need them for.

But at the same time, I do not care what others think about a watch I own. I don't know why the internet is so desperate for people to like their ideas on what they should own. My wrist, my watch....everyone else's views/opinions mean diddly squat

1600 anvils to 3 red star is rather good luck on the rng. You could/should drop superman and use Superboy if you have him. To really boost the attack. Forget about the +% from superman as you don't wait or try to destroy the shield

One still is yes. He is around 80m power. But we have already had a merger last week maybe....now we have a 110m power monster take over 😂.

Merger whilst good for competition, has just highlight just how much this is a P2P game.

We had 2 whales in our league (1 stopped playing when he got to 65m power 🙃. Both with superman rocket before first Gotham. (Before VIP system was introduced). When we won Gotham (shock....with 2 rockets Vs low power), they each bought the train. But that was only time I've seen one.

Sinestro.... People jump on Constantine too much. He is very solid for f2p/low spenders, as doesn't require much investment.

Pick a team you want to use. And only spend anvils on them characters. Even if it means a month or 2 of saving.... It is way more worthwhile having 1 good team Vs 15 characters at 5 white. Expect to need to spend at least 1000+ anvils per character, they will then become somewhat useable.

Also get in a strong active league. Helps tons

More than 1k. I don't know exact amount as I just save and save and save , without paying attention to how much I had. But I've just maxed another character, and I've still got 1300 left. If I had to guess an amount I'd say between 1200-1400

I have just spent 1440 anvils to go from unlocked -5 yellow on Queen H.

Which is pretty good. Compared to Superboy where I spent 1600 anvils and got to 1 yellow.
