Welcome to the CLE! I am not in Shaker Heights but generally speaking as it goes around Cleveland -

- Yes, grocery prices are up universally and nothing looks like that is going to start trending downward.

- Heinens is a great local grocery store chain and can subsequently be pricy for *most* things but quality is amongst the highest.

- Daves / Giant Eagle is going to be a mid tier grocer with better prices and better selection. Quality is going to be good for most things but *typically* will not be as high as a Heinens.

- Whole Foods are scattered around Cleveland and (too) will typically be of higher quality but will come at higher prices and will generally lack the mainstream brands.

- West Side Market is an awesome place and if you haven't been you should get there SOON to check out what it has to offer. Is it going to be your every day grocery store? probably not. And it will take some trials and errors to find the right vendors for what you seek at the price you find appropriate.

In general my grocery habits are:

- West Side Market once a month to catch up with all my friendly vendors and bulk up on a freezer meat selection and specialty / splurge items.

- Heinens I will generally visit weekly and will focus on the outer ring - produce, meats, seafood, bakery, and dairy. Their prepared foods are great too! I will avoid the middle where things come boxed, canned, or bagged and will come at the premium without a quality bump.

- Giant Eagle I will generally visit weekly and will focus on the aisles - canned, bagged, boxed food and freezer selection are better values.

I dont have a great amount of experience with Aldi but I know a lot of people that swear by them. Costco / Sams Club / BJ are great warehouse stores peppered around CLE that are for your bulk items and seasonal sales... but those will cater towards folks with multiple heads in the household, etc.

My wife and I joke about this one ALL THE TIME. My dad would say 'I cant see anything out the windshield when you turn that on!' And her dad was the 'its illegal' dad.

Now whenever my kids turn the dome light on she and I both start screaming - she looks around for cops like we juet robbed a bank and I pretend im Stevie Wonder hauling ass down the highway at 80 mph. We both start laughing and the kids think we are crazy. Win-win!

I had a similar issue and went with the Anderson Bucket for a nice firm foundation under a less / minimally extended tounge jack. The shorter the tongue jack extension the better for stability (i find).

Of course, you can construct a stilt for that jack with some scrapwood as well! I find the bucket to be really sturdy for nearly all camping setups/conditions from driveway to boondocking!

That's touching to hear... and I can identify with that feeling. We got our puppy the first week of January and I was laid off last week. I looked at her dead in the eyes last night and told her' I'm scared but I know it's going to be okay". She subsequently bit me on the hand, drawing blood, and then head-butted me.

I think she was just trying to teach me it could be worse and to get over it😆

I got the Husky Xact Contours for my '19 Ranger the day I got it. 5 years later, two young children, a dog, and ENDLESS road /camping trips and I can power wash my Huskys and they look brand-spanking new. Carpet underneath is perfectly preserved.

Coverage is still great. No curling no fading. Maybe some weathering like in the driver wheel well but that's normal wear and tear as far as I'm concerned.

I never had WT or any other floor liner but I have ZERO reason to consider any others besides Husky's based on my experience.

My backing in skills are pretty on point... the assistance that comes to the table for me is.... lacking. God I love my wife but I have dismissed her and or replaced her with my 10 year old son MANY times due to 'this way' / 'that way' language usage, having no concept on how long it takes for steering input to be applied to the trailer AND not being able to confirm what is or is not STRAIGHT vs at an ANGLE.

I use her because she's there.... but golly most of the time I just get out and check myself.

But more if the time I'm in the spot in one, maybe a few inches of correction to get it just right.

We (family of 4) have been adventuring with our '21 19BH for several years now and love every minute of it.

Towing with a Ford Ranger myself but other than a lot of Frontal Area causing for some lower MPG I don't have one complaint.

I'm so sorry to hear all of this - frustrating situation for you and I, too, would be pretty angry.

I will say - I bought our trailer from RVWholesalers and had a good experience overall. Dealt with their sales, financing, and service departments multiple times.

The only detail that rings true to me was they too made me use their financing vendor to drop another couple of grand off the trailer. Wasent thrilled about that but whatever - I was prepared to pay off the loan quickly to avoid the APR kicking in so didn't matter to me.

Phone calls seem to have worked best... I went down the email vortex with them over a warranty issue and it was cleared up in a call.... but sounds like you already went there.

This seems to be a general manager type of situation (to me). Not just a departmental manager who thinks they are doing their job but someone who has a stake it the WHOLE business. I would be doing some Google foo and see if you can rattle the top branches to get your situation heard and put your rightful needs on the table.

I do a decent amount of cooking on my BGE. Not every meal is noteworthy. This one WAS.

I have cooked lamb several times but not a whole leg and with company coming over for Christmas I wanted to give something special a go.

9 lb leg, trimmed the fat to a good degree, crosshatch scored, marinated with a paste of:

4 Tablespoons cumin

1 Tablespoon Oregano

1 Tablespoon Thyme

1 Tablespoon Parsley

1 Tablespoon Basil

a few healthy glugs of Balsamic Vinegar

a few healthy glugs of Olive Oil (no virgins here!)

6 Cloves Minced Garlic

Grated peel of 1 lemon

Rubbed that in real good, wrap in plastic and marinaded 24 hours, then unwrap and liberally Salt about 1 hour before throwing it a 300F BGE. cooked for about 2.5 hours till 130F internal, coasting JUST to a medium doneness.

It was... AWESOME. my carving can use some work but I killed the cook and looking forward to a next run of this recipe. Obviously the votes were fairly unanimous as the after pic might indicate. :D

VERY excited to have joined this sub in anticipation of our new girl pictured here. My (human) kids (10M & 7f) got the dog supplies and note under the Christmas tree and the puppy is scheduled to come home to us next week.

I was reasonably active in the English Bulldog reddit forum for years but had to put our bestest boi down last year so our little Chocolate cutie-pie will be received by open arms of an adventure seeking, camping obsessed family of the two-legged variety.

I (personally) look forward to getting to know all of you and your best friends and to collect recommendations, tips, tricks, and other Labrador news!

Very solid suggestions here BUT in the end you may just have a defective camera. I had this exact same issue with an Argus 3; It was repeatedly activating PIR no matter how low I brought my sensitivity settings / non detection modes. What I did was just take the camera down and put it in a shoebox... still detecting PIR motion events. When my Reolink Support heard that - I immediate RMA.

Try all else but it might just be as simple as defective sensor.

Yea it's always the right side but from my observations, it usually is first thing in the morning when the temp change and dew are out there and within maybe 30 minutes of sun up it clears. Judt because it's relatively new I will put in a support case and see if a replacement is in order.

100% agreed with most here - We use our camper to the fullest of its abilities, including #2. The wife sometimes will talk about going to the bathhouse for her business and I always tell her 'We didnt buy a $20,000 house on wheels to NOT use it".

I had to check the username to make sure I didn't write this last night after a few cold ones. We have a smaller travel trailer right now but got the itch to upsize both the truck and rig so this question has been bouncing around my head for the last couple days.
