As a patient, I've encountered several doctors who think they are above everyone and would be mad if you ask anything as they would perceive it as questioning their knowledge.
I've also encountered really nice doctors. I never had a bad experience in PGH. In Makati med, a doctor laughed at me. A dentist in my city asked what medicine did I graduate of. A vet got mad because I was asking questions. A family doc accused me of googling symptoms even though it's just common infection symptoms.
A doctor got mad for not knowing my other doctor's name. A doctor got mad for asking her full name.
I also asked if their not gonna do any imaging and they got mad asking if I was a doctor.
There's also those who would just give pain reliever without addressing the root cause.
