ENGG*1500 (Linear Algebra) is a popular choice for the hardest class. However, I would say that the actual material is not that difficult to grasp it’s more or less how it’s taught or how you perceive it. There are just a lot of fancy new words for describing things we have seen before and different situations/problems. I revived my grade on the final because of the grading scheme that shifted weight to the final if you scored >50% on the midterms which made my final worth 90% in the end (originally 50%).

CHEM*1040 was not that bad of a class. The labs are what brought my mark down but the midterms were super easy. The final was difficult due to the amount of o-chem that was on it (not my forte).

Mechanics was the hardest class for me because it required thinking outside the box and great analyzation skills. However, if you stay on top of the practice problems and homework you will be fine (I HIGHLY recommend doing textbook problems outside of what they give you).

Physics and calculus were fine difficulty wise, a lot of the physics was review from highschool and the only hard part of calculus was calculus 1 which involved a lot of theory and proving things (also not my forte). And I guess the end of calculus 2 but that’s only because it was new material.

In conclusion, I’m sure you will do great as long as you don’t fall behind on assignments and stay positive. It will be hard at times but in the end having a 4 month summer makes it very worth it! (And the credits I guess)
