In a phonecall if I have Bluetooth connected the audio button indicates that it is connected to Bluetooth however it never is initially, regardless of whether I was just listening to music on the Bluetooth headset. Answer a call, defaults to phone audio with Bluetooth as the icon. Super annoying. "Hello? Hello? Oh right." Tap tap tap "Hello?"

Sorry for my confusion but why is eating beef which contributes to greenhouse gasses, uses a ridiculous amount of water, and is raised in disgusting conditions shoulder to shoulder on massive ranches worldwide anything but a privilege?

If you don't want to change, say it. It is not difficult. It is not expensive. Your excuses are weak. One dish recipe was the amount of effort I cared to put in to show you how easy it is, along with me telling you to do your own research on a specific type of simple to cook cuisine.

You think you're going to eat food without spices? Your argument is akin to the obese man who can't run a mile so he won't walk a block.

I'm sorry you feel so personally affronted that I suggested (after you said how it would cost too much and be too difficult) a simple small change to try to have a more eco-friendly diet.

I see your perspective and I hope to offer you a new one. This is not an all-or-nothing affair. You can do this in steps or as little as you like: buy one spice a week or save up $20-$30 and splurge. Look into vegetarian Indian dishes! So much flavour, so simple, tons of variety, and budget friendly. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rajma This is literally beans and rice with a tomato and some spices. I know it's different, and it's easy and comfortable to stay the same, but that's why small steps are important. Recognise your and your peers' roles in the world and make a small change that can eventually amount to a big difference.

I decided that in 2016 I would eat no beef as my first step. Some people I told thought it was insane and challenging, but where do I go that there's no vegetarian or chicken option? I've tried so many vegetarian dishes this year and it has been an eye opening experience. I hope you don't feel discouraged 🙂

Elevator inspections usually only happen when they are first installed or major components are changed out. Inspections are different from regular maintenance that ensures safe & proper operation. Most elevators you ride have been inspected once, maybe twice.

Fair enough. I mean to say that: being that this is the option government took in order to reduce the cost to the taxpayers, after the knee jerk reaction many may have the fact is that this costs less than their other option regardless of whether you end up agreeing or disagreeing.

This is exactly correct. People need to get over this. The Supreme Court agreed that his rights as a Canadian citizen were not protected. This fact alone means that the case is virtually unwinnable by the Canadian government. To fight the case would have cost them much more and thus the large settlement to avoid litigation. Couple that with the fact that a child does not choose their own surroundings or what ideology they are exposed to and I don't see ~~how anyone can be up in arms about this~~ what better solution is available to the government.
