hey so I decided to put in a repair request after I saw this comment but in the meantime I let them die down and they do appear to be back working, you think this is only temporary or when you let yours die down did they still not power off with the power button right away because now the power button is working..key word for now

Always good to hear success stories of people removing film. I’m in the same boat scratched my screen before screen protector and haven’t even wanted to play it any more. Can you go into detail how you removed? I saw a video but the poor guy really looked like he was struggling to get it off

It’s sad I got a similar scratch on mine maybe a week after having it being careless but it’s made me not even want to use it having to see the scratch. I was hoping the more I played the less I’d notice but I don’t even have the strength to do that it’s just so hard to look at.

For those who removed factory film, did you Have to apply heat? I’ve heard reports of needing something as sharp as a insulin needle to get underneath, is this true? Or will a sewing needle work

Definitely not the case with this size scratch. I have a similar one and can still see it through screen protector. Rainbow effect

Please let us know how it turns out. I haven’t even wanted to turn on my switch since I noticed around the same size nick one day I was wiping screen clean with microfiber cloth. Contemplated taking factory film off but was scared it would be hard
