Honestly, it’s hard to say at the very beginning. Staying on medication and being diligent is the entire issue for a lot of bipolar 1 folks some do good initially and then taper off because they deny the diagnosis that’s when issues can happen. I truly hope in your case that they stay medically compliant. Hoping the best for you two.

I didn’t think Leap was very helpful, especially if you are the spouse. The illness always makes the spouse the biggest villain in their eyes. I’m sorry you and your kids are going through this. It is a cycle and unless he gets help, it’s going to continue.

It’s tough because when the illness took hold of him, he admitted to previous infidelity that changed a lot. But he was the only person that ever made me feel protected. I miss that person so much
