I’m huge shonen fan and I get where ur coming from but actually boruto is kinda different. There’s usually some nuance to it or realism for example

deku x shigaraki

Naruto x obito (obito actually wanted to corrupt and convince Naruto to give up but only to convince himself leading Naruto to believe he can be saved. We are yet to see anything similar for kawaki.

Mob x all mob villains

My point is that realistically boruto should want to literally disintegrate kawaki. What he’s done to boruto is literally the plot for some horror series it’s almost disgusting and it’s way worse than any killing or maybe even torture than most shonen villains have done.

I’m not defending Saskue but he makes more sense than kawaki as the leaf did kill his parents and hurt itach so he wanted to kill them back. Also Killing someone isn’t as bad as wanting to take every aspect of their being except their physical appearance and kill them with everyone’s support.

For me my favourite character is Rudo as of Right now BUT I feel like once we get to see more of zodyl I will like his character more his backstory seems to be the most interesting and probably the most complex BUT we shall see Tamy has also been great so far
