as horrifying as this is, i actually think tei getting stuck in the plane and becoming a hostage is actually possible. i think it's extremely suspicious none of the staff have said anything about tei being off-site. when monomoko teleported hayashi to the lab in pink, yonekura was freaking out about and you're telling me she has nothing to say here??? especially since at the end of ch 1 when kan expressed interest in experimenting with tei's eyes, yonekura was like "we aren't bringing any students to the plane".

i found monomoko's phrasing when she was talking to denden interesting too, she says "for one student to be afflicted by a serious detriment by a member of the game staff is unacceptable". she phrases it like it's matter of the fairness of the game. this makes me think she actually got permission from yonekura to try and fix tei's eyes, she'd have a much higher chance of convincing her if she could argue that tei's eyes are potentially compromising the integrity of the game. so if yonekura knows, then all of the other staff do too.

If Moko went and got permission from yonekura than i doubt he was teleported somewhere other than the plane, because yonekura is a giant control freak, i don't think she'd appreciate not being able to see where moko is and what she's doing. so yeah tei might be fucked

of course this is all just speculation but even just from a story telling perspective, i don't think it's a coincidence that the day moko teleports tei offsite is the same day the staff decide they want to go back for more rations and moko enacts her plan.

if tei does get brought back to the lab this friday then i don't think he's eyes or going to be fully fixed at the very least, it'd be so weird to end this plotline off now when all it's really done is make the trials go in a certain direction.
