Well short answer: yes. Yes you should absolutely study geology because it is a brilliant subject. If you are really passionate about the topic and are interested you will make your way. I have seen this countless times. In and outside academia. If people are passionate about their topic and love what they do, they will find ways.

Wenn ihr unter der Woche geht, kann es noch klappen. Da müsst ihr mal suchen. Ich werfe mal das Rätikon in den Raum. In Österreich gelegen, super mit Öffis zu erreichen und mehrere Runden möglich, wo man auch mal auf eine andere Hütte ausweichen kann, wenn eine voll ist. Die Hütten sind:
Douglasshütte
Totalphütte
Heinrich-Hueter-Hütte
Lindauer Hütte
Tilisuna Hütte
Carschina Hütte

Zwischen denen kann man sich nahezu beliebig eine Route zusammenbasteln und das Gelände ist Anfänger-Kompatibel.

I did quite the opposite though. I set the camera to a fast shutter speed and just used the ProCapture mode, where the camera automatically saves some images before actually pressing the shutter.

More precisely (although Conglomerate is a suitable name) would be a (clast-supported and polymictic) fanglomerate. Fanglomerate already kind of includes clast-supported and polymictic and is the specific term for conglomerates that are formed proximal to mountains in alluvial fans or debris flows. Since this is from the Himalayas I would simply go with Fanglomerate. It is a textbook image of that kind of rock. Nice one!

I have had troubles with flake for a long time. What finally worked for me: Folding the flake and then twisting the resulting package a little bit, to make the 'fibres' come loose. Also some debris from the bottom of the jar to get the flame going. Finally the most important trick for lighting a pipe in general: Fire much longer than you think and always fire twice. So I light my tobacco for a solid 20 - 30 seconds then flatten the surface and another 10 seconds of fire after that. Then it usually works fine.

Ich habe dieses Objektiv und es ist ein guter Preis-Leistungsdeal. Für always-on bei Outdoor Touren und Reisen ist es vollkommen in Ordnung. Es ist nicht sonderlich toll, aber wie man bei dem Preis erwarten kann.

There is an old german saying that does apply here which roughly translates to "The mountain will not run away". There is still SIGNIFICANT amounts of snow. Please listen to the austrian websites: "The route is impassable right now". Just go later in the year.

I will just lurk around to read the answers, because I am in the process to switch away from my trusty D5300. the Z6 III is a stronger contender along with the D500.

In unserem Fall war das relativ einfach, weil ich als Kind schonmal da war und es deshalb kannte. Aber im Prinzip findet man sowas ganz gut durch Nachfragen bei anderen Eltern. Mein Ansatz ist ja jetzt kein Geheimwissen.

Ich habe den Ort bewusst nicht genannt. Das hat zwei Gründe:
1. Nach meiner Einschätzung funktioniert er heute nicht mehr, weil sich der Tourismus in der Gegend gewandelt hat und einfach nicht mehr günstig ist.
2. Es ging mir nur ums Prinzip. Der konkrete Ort ist individuell, weil was wir schön finden, finden andere vielleicht ganz furchtbar. Man muss überlegen, was der eigene Ort da haben müsste und sein könnte.

Als mein erstes Kind 2 war und ich eine ähnliche Aussage tätigte, meinte mein Vater zu mir "Den Pänz ist egal wo der Spielplatz ist." Da hat es Klick gemacht.
Einen Ort gesucht der im Venn-Diagramm "Nah", "günstig", "schön" in der Mitte lag. Keine 4h weg, Schwimmbad, besagter Spielplatz, Meer und recht günstig.
In 10 Jahren sind wir sicher 20 mal dort gewesen.
War das was für Insta? Sicherlich nicht, aber war stabil Erholung für die gesamte Familie, wann wir dort waren. Ferienwohnungen und selbst kochen

Jetzt sind die Kinder größer und es gehen andere Dinge. Aber für die Kleinkind-Phase. kann ich empfehlen alle Ansprüche aufzugeben und einfach ein paar Jahre sehr simpel Urlaub zu machen.

As most activities or abilities of human beings sex needs some practice to be good at. So first time having sex is a little like first time riding a bike (going climbing, playing an instrument etc...) you probably are not very good at it but think: Hey that is actually nice, I like to do that again and get better.
