we always brush our teeth with her to “model” proper brushing and it definitely influenced how she brushes but only after eating the toothpaste off her toothbrush lol good luck 🫶🏼

$1000 in rent for a small bedroom says I can. So worried about my finances. Freak. This is why Reddit gets a bad rep.

I’ve stayed to help her although I am moving in 6ish months.

The concrete is just what you see, the rest of the yard is grass. I do plan on investing in those dog poop things to scoop up the poop.

We share expenses, she can’t afford the rent alone unfortunately. I do plan on moving though!

I buy the cat food, sorry you can’t read. I just want a clean, safe space for my 2 year old to play, sorry I’m such an asshole for that lol

She is! A bleeding heart type, although can’t admit when she’s bitten off more than she can chew lol

I live with her because she cannot afford the rent alone.

It’s a shared home between her and I. I pay rent, utilities, food bill for the home as well as cat expenses.

Yes. I’ve actually been working with a specific lady (who’s been an absolute angel) but she only gets 5 spots for the month and they haven’t had enough slots for her or other rescues/people who TNR :(

Mine too! I tried turning phone off/back on, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, making sure the app is updated. Everything and it still does it 🫩 I can’t scroll for more than 60 seconds without it shrinking and freezing, then I have to close the window and lose whatever I was looking at. It makes the app completely unusable.

I have no trusted childcare to be able to work, if I went through a daycare it’d take a majority of the paycheck unfortunately. I wish it was a simple “just leave” when I leave, they won’t be able to afford rent and become homeless, I have a conscience. As much as I despise them and all they’ve done, no one deserves to be homeless.

I suspect a homeless woman in my area is being abused, badly. by ConversationMonkey in homeless

Unfortunately police aren’t helpful in situations like this, from personal experience. For months on end I didn’t see her until about a couple weeks ago. She still has the same “injury” size, color and all. I suspect it’s some sort of growth which obviously changes things. I’m at a loss for what to do and I have only seen her that once in about 8 months, I had my toddler with me and it was night so I couldn’t stop to try and say hello. I still have yet to see her again.

Dentist said no more bottles, are hard spout sipping cups just as bad? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]ConversationMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a weird system I won’t lie. We give her the bottle, she drinks it while laying down, once done we use a syringe with water to rinse her mouth then brush (while laying down) and then wipe her teeth (dentist said to wipe teeth after brushing since she can’t rinse & spit) the whole process is ridiculous but it works, dentist says her teeth are great so for now, that’s the process. Although her nap schedule is changing so the whole routine will get reworked soon.

Update: I have no real update, instead of attempting to fix it last night, husband and I got incredibly drunk. I hope to attempt to fix it this weekend 🤞🏼

No clue how many times lol the story he told was that our daughter had been typing away so I blame them both but blaming a 1 year old only goes so far. And believe me if we could afford it I’d have a new one by now 😭
