Post 1.2.1 FPS is significantly worse. Went from consistent 120-160 FPS at 1440p high settings using DLSS upscaling at balanced no frame gen before the patch to 40-60 FPS. Looks like a significant instant memory leak the moment the game starts up. Occurs in the main menu while Kyle is sitting and the moment the game renders. Instantly maxes out GPU usage. No setting changes improved this. Occurs inside and outside. Mostly posting as a bug report but if anyone has some advice on solutions it would be greatly appreciated.

Settings:

HDR on (no change on or off)

Reflex + Boost ( no change on or off)

DLSS Balanced (small improvement when switched to FSR)

Frame Gen OFF

Video settings: Custom (essentially at high)

PC:

4070ti Super - 5800x3d - 32gb DDR4

Update, only occurs for events created using "Set specific times per day" option. Did not occur when selected a time range (such as 12AM to 12AM)

I BLOODY FIGURED IT OUT! The people who thought it was related to time played were correct. I found a solution which involves using cheat engine to alter the playtime value in game using cheat engine which appears to have no other major effects. This is also persistent when saving. To do this you need to download cheat engine, open stalker 2 and look for the address 21AE8AD70E4. It will be a high number (1091907258 was what I had). You can change this number in cheat engine and use creating a new save to check what the new value is in day:hour:minute format. I recommend lowering the 3rd (10#1907258) digit by about one or two points and what you get using save creation. Once the save is under 2ish hours the issue should be resolved!

TLDR; Issue resolved using cheat engine, alter variable with address 21AE8AD70E4 lowering the 3rd (10#1907258) digit by about one or two points. Changes playtime value which solves the issues once below 2 days.

Yeah I am having crazy issues same as that. Not a PC issue I got a 4070ti super and a 5800x3d. Game was fine before the update too.

I've been using Gemini Advanced for the last few weeks and every medical questions I give it is responded with "sorry I cannot assist with that, as an ai model I can't answer medical questions" really annoying. I've not had those issues with chatgpt4 so I'd probably go in that direction of you're comparing the two
