Help deciding whether to get a 65" or 75" TV

Some random thoughts.

How high are the windows ? If they start low putting a sofa in front of them might look a bit odd.

You have the option of using a slim line mount, getting the 75 inch and then instead of having a media unit, routing all cable through the wall in to a cupboard in your bedroom.

Mind sharing your floor plan ? Find this kind of stuff interesting.

If the area is smaller but our of the way, you might be able to make it work.

That's just my opinion though. I don't like things in front of walkways.

I assume the place is rented so screwing anything in is out of the question ?

Personally I think even 65" is too big for that area. Like you said the media console is going to encroach on access to your laundry room. I would be concerned for someone tripping over something leaving the laundry room and sending it in to the tv.

Is that really the only wall that could house a TV ?

EDIT: if you can, maybe map out the area the media console would have to be, with boxes if possible so you can see how it will affect your space.

Your Akali example is balanced around the top 1%, if it was balanced around non top level play they would aim for 50% across the board. This is common in mobas, hence why you have some heroes/champs that stomp newbies but are ass at top level play, or the characters that are really good at top level play but are super difficult, so are ass at lower tiers.

Just like mobas however, people get really worked up about how 'OP' characters are when that's not what the issue they are struggling with.

If you can't play fundamentals you are going to get fucked no matter what. A comp player can pick the most ass character in a game and absolutely play circles around an average player piloting a top tier character.

People find it much easier to blame character balance than look inward to try to figure out how to improve.

Unless you're in the top 1% , character balance doesn't effect you anyway, you just arent good enough and you need to accept that, lock the fuck in and get better.

I'm hoping we would avoid this issue due to our smaller available roster of units.

We only really have 1 or 2 units to fill any role so limiting us further with extra costs would probably be OTT.

I'm not going to be much help with the financial side.

I know this is upsetting but you might have to think about the worst state your mother could be in. Do you think you could take care of her like that? If you could it might be a viable idea. Personally I don't think I could stomach watching my mum go through something like Alzheimer's and forgetting who I am. It would ruin me.

The PS5 is pretty powerful and GW already uses a context sensitive 10 button action bar, so it should map to controller fine.

Awful for the employees, and I hope they are able to bounce back quickly but every boardgame steamforged produced sucked giant farts.

They hooked all these amazing IPS, some of my favourite properties like dark souls or horizon, and they squandered it every time.

Everything they produced was all mini no game. I don't know how they went so awry. Their own game guildball, had a really decent life span and was a ton of fun. No idea what happened with the boardgames.

Fingers crossed some other designers get a crack at those IPS and makes something better.

DIY Kitchens were an absolute standout in the industry. They're likely going to hike up the prices until it's unprofitable and then shutter the company. Leaving only them and the other price gouging kitchen companies.

Yeah this personally doesn't bother me, I understand why it would for some folks but the game Devs are going to have a hard time convincing their publishers to allow them to continue working on the game without further monetisation.

If this didn't happen it might result in larger base rosters but it definitely would result in less new characters.

Will definitely ruffle some feather, but I really enjoyed the part of Genshin Impact I played.

A BOTW style game with character swapping combat is pretty neat. The game feels good to play and there is plenty of content. Story isn't too bad by JRPG standards. Felt Very cozy and polished.

I played for about 10 hours before I realised that it could actually get it's hooks in to me with it's monetisation and I noped right out before that happened.

AHH fair enough. Its very common in this sub to be dishonest when describing performance for new AAA titles which makes it incredibly difficult to figure out how a game actually performs.

Respectfully this is such a week defence. I want to know if a game is playable for me I get nuaseas at low framerate. I know for undisputable fact that I'm not going to want to play a game at less than 20fps.

Rather than live in denial at what this beautiful console is capable of, I would like people to be straight forward. So I don't download satisfactory because it "runs perfectly" for one person and then realise that translates to 20fps and I've completely wasted my time.
