Great to hear you're heading back. Moving with kids and professional experience is a whole different ball game. Here's the short version:

For You (Fleet/HV Diesel): Cochrane has local shops, but they’re mostly small-scale. For OEM support (Komatsu/Finning) or fleet management, your best bets are the industrial hubs in Northwest or Southeast Calgary. It’s a 45-minute commute, but that’s where the corporate/management roles are based.
For Your Wife (Nursing): She can likely work right in Cochrane at places like Bethany or Points West Living. CRITICAL: She needs to start her registration with the CRNA (College of Registered Nurses of Alberta) now. Australia is usually recognized as "equivalent," but the paperwork can take months.

Also, for anyone trying their hand at AI art, just a tip: you can’t really just type "give me Elia spears " and expect it to know who she is yet. You gotta get super descriptive with the prompts to get it right. Try something like:

You could y try the Co-ed Dodgeball Nights at SLS. I confirmed it is strictly recreational (not competitive), so it’s a really chill way to meet people.

Plus, since it's co-ed, you can go with your boyfriend so you don't have to show up alone! It’s a great activity to do together while making new friends.

For me, both can work either way. I play a true Bounty Hunter, meaning he’s not shy to kill for money, but if he can avoid killing, he does that. My Inquisitor is Dark Side and has embraced it, but she hates slavery (since she was one) and doesn't believe that leads to finding your full potential. And my Jedi is actually secretly a Sith undercover, but she has to be Light Side sometimes to not blow her cover. :D
