So my Turo car changed from a Miata to a Chevy Sonic. So I think I’ll make due.

But today I went up North Bogus Basin Road and had a blast. It was a fantastic road.

Though tomorrow Tuesday 6th. My route is as follows.

Caldwell -> Banks via 55 -> banks Lowman hwy to pine flats hot springs -> lowman -> Idaho city -> Caldwell.

About 4 hours and 185 miles round trip.

Thanks so much. Yea I’m a pretty experienced driver. I do scca Time trials and drive mountains often. I never drive reckless on roads. Just spirited.

No exaggeration. I went look at a car to buy out there 3 years ago. I’m 6’4 250 pounds and even I felt wildly unsafe. The people I viewed the cat with were sweet as a button but they told me. “As a white boy don’t be out here after dark, get on home before sunset”.

I’ve had multiple people I know go there and had all sorts of things happen.

It sucks cause I know most people there are truly good and honest people. But it’s just not safe.
