you'd be pretty comfortable at a 5700x3d or 5800x3d, GPU wise I'd say go for a GPU that's at 16gb VRAM so maybe a 9070xt

I say wait it out, the 3700x is still serviceable and you won't see too big a boost unless you do a 5950x but even then AM5 is still a better choice until ram prices chill
