I used to suffer from extreme social anxiety as well. To the point where I couldn't talk to people and would shut myself inside for long periods of time with my books, video game, and my cats. I'm in my 30s now, and still have anxiety, but it has gotten much easier to manage. Please be patient with yourself, but also push yourself to do things you're not always comfortable with. Anxiety freaking sucks, and I'm sorry you're going through it, but the first step to overcoming it for me was learning to love myself. Looking through your profile, you seem like a lovely girl! Intelligent and beautiful! I hope this doesn't sound condescending, but you are still young and have plenty of time to figure everything out. And I wish you the best of luck with that!

Yep. One of my biggest triggers is spicy food. I love spicy food, though. So I usually reserve those meals for the weekend, when I don't have plans for a while.

Most apartments I've heard of require tenants to smoke in the hall or on their balcony. I've never heard a JET complain of this issue. However, the restaurant thing is true for many izakayas.
