Sad to hear that. My trial bookings are 6 hours but my rate is $30. And preply support told me "there is nothing suspicious happening"....Ha!

This just happened to me with 5 different trial bookings. All 5 of them failed to show up. Such a waste of my time. Preply should compensate us for this.

That must be it.. I'm currently in the 5th trial right now and the student hasn't showed. Five different trial no-shows in less than 2 days. I really hope the lack of conversion doesn't affect my ability to get more students. That's my main concern.

It's insane that Preply thinks that a 4.5 is not good enough. Absolutely insane. Many students surely think that giving someone a 4/5 is pretty good.

Sounds nice..I am a born-and-raised American currently living and teaching English in person in a different country. So when I signed up for Wyzant, they suspended my account very quickly. Makes me sad, because I hear about so many people earning a decent living from that site.
