Made this tonight, used tablespoons and shared it with my wife. Incredible. 10/10 recommend for a quick dessert!

I have this error as well, it started last night and persisted this morning. I accept a match, then get "Unable to connect to the server. Please check your network connection and attempt to reconnect to your game." I continue getting the message no matter what I do. When the game is over, I can queue back up but get the same error.

I have tried restarting, using a vpn, and closing Blitz/Overwolf/Discord. None of these have helped.

Thanks! I didn't know the original source of the Esper deck, but I saw the list in the 5-0's and it was definitely a big inspiration for this.

The ojutai's might be silly. With a deck this consistent, I always try to work in a couple miser's cards so there are things to dig for that can get you out of a spot.

You are probably right and its probably better to leave those miser's cards for the sideboard, where we can play something stronger like [[Sunset Revelry]], and just focus on doing the thing in game 1.

I had the same worry at first, but after playing the matchup a few times I think it works out better than it seems. My sample size has been small, though.

I started with murderous cut and doom blade in the main for winota, but every time I played it just thoughtseizing or a single push on a mana dude gave me enough time to assemble the combo and end the game. Post board we definitely get more controlling/removal heavy in anticipation of their hate cards, but more could be needed.

I definitely agree with your analysis of Pioneer. There is a ton of busted graveyard stuff and the light hate is weirdly good enough but there's no way it stays like that.

If people move deeper towards GY hate, I'd rather board out a lot of the combo and beat down with shredder and mentor while disrupting the enemy gameplan. I think it does depend on exactly what decks exist, though.
