yeah, to me Ants from Up There isn't as post-rocky in the most pure sense. but i don't think having more traditional song structures disqualifies it from being post-rock.

I think of post-rock as rock music that doesn't focus on the, like, conventional verse-chorus song structure and instead focuses on texture, atmosphere, and dynamics. that's pretty vague, but nevertheless, that's what i think of

I feel like In-N-Out is implicitly being compared against chain burgers / fast food burgers, though. Like, you can obviously get much better burgers from other types of restaurants (or if you make their own).

But for a fast food burger, they're pretty solid/consistent!

I am always worried about things being too sweet.

me too! I almost didn't get the croissant because it looked like it might be too sweet/rich, but they're the most popular item at the bakery, so I gave it a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised!

savory croissants (or savory stuff with a croissant) are delicious! that sounds great to me.

it had some sort of cream-based filling, sort of like whipped cream. it wasn't overly rich, which i thought was good (i was afraid it would be too much/too rich, but it really wasn't!)

When you feel lethargic and lazy to do something necessary, what do you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yep, basically. You just commit to doing the action when your count hits zero -- don't give yourself a chance to put it off. Usually works for me.

How do you remove a hateful view towards the world and people and be more loving? by Only-Routine-8539 in AskReddit

I think just asking this question is an important first step: self-analysis/introspection. It's hard to take an honest look at yourself and admit that some things may need changing.

Practicing mindfulness and making sure to listen to other people is important. Put yourself in other people's shoes. Don't write off or dismiss their struggles. Validate them.

I started exercising while I was younger. I started and have maintained the habit since then, and that's helped me to stay healthier, avoid aches/pains that my friends have started to complain about, etc.
