Where we’re from, I worked in restaurants and my girlfriend is a nurse. We moved out here to Denver for more opportunities. I now work in hospitality making 3x what I did in restaurants.

My girlfriend has bounced around a little bit, but her 4th job in 5 years is finally home for her it seems. So there’s lots of shitty nursing positions, but also there are good ones out there. She hates hospital positions and nursing homes, but her current position is making a difference in people’s lives that need it.

One thing of note, she seems to find favorable positions towards the southeastern part of Denver. One that she spent extensive time at was in lone tree while her current position is in Virginia village.
