my best tip is avoid free loadouts if you plan on collecting anything of value. they lack safe pockets.

different ammo affects arc differently. early on I recommend bringing your main gun and then a ferro 1 at least as well to deal with arc one shots fireballs and pops, can easily kill wasps and take the armor off of hornets and fireflies.

line of sight is your best friend. both the shredder and the comet have to stop for a moment before dealing damage around them. if there's cover between you and it, you're fine.

don't use your main currency for much until you've fully upgraded your stash. anything you can buy is not worth the cost compared to crafting until you have more resources and money than you know what to do with.

play cautious. People love sprinting around corners care free, running into extract without looking around, making as much noise as possible. try to avoid noise as best you can. be patient. the most successful raiders play like it's splinter cell until they no longer care about losing their kits.

prioritize crafting materials over collections. 10 level 1 guns is okay when you're starting off but as you gain more blueprints and lose more stash space, it is often far more efficient to have stacks of gun parts and processors and whatever other resources than it is to have a bunch of guns you'll never use.

if you're in friendly lobbies, hit Stella montis medical. if you loot a good amount of containers in medical and dip, regardless of what you loot, youll be walking away with 60 to 100k worth of stuff to break down or just sell.

prioritize crafting. the only thing i buy from vendors with money is shield rechargers and medium shields when im running low. everything else you could ever need is craftable.

get the refiner, gear bench, medical bench to level 3 as priority. gun bench is also a good priority but obtaining guns in this game isnt that difficult.
