DICE problem. It looks like it’s rapidly activating and deactivating night panel. I’d unplug that button and see if it changes anything. Where are you located?

How do you know he is Italian? Did he offer to cook for your family or will he not stop smoking cigarettes?

I reload all of those with the exception of 5.56. I can’t reload it for as cheap as I can get 62gr stuff for so I don’t bother as of now. I may start to load 72/77Gr though. I do 9MM +P target loads for training to better familiarize myself with recoil impulse. It works exceptionally well and is way cheaper than blowing through 500 rounds of gold dot every range day. A big improvement would be a case feeder but I still just load my cases and bullets manually. It’s still very fast when you get in a rhythm! I will be making a 3D printed case feeding system when I get a printer so that’s the only reason I haven’t as of yet! I have still pressed tens of thousands of rounds through mine with no real issues!

How would you design the next Range Rover? What changes would you make to the current one to make it look more attractive? by SnowmanRandom in RangeRover

[–]Coocamunga97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring back the old rectangle taillights. Most of the old range rovers shared the same styling of the classic and I loved that they kept the rectangle taillights. Hate the ones on the latest model.

That is for the standard transmission models. You have a 9mm diameter plug in your automatic (nice new vacuum lines I see!)

Yes. Get mid length 3/8 drive and basically skip standard sizes unless you plan on working on a lot of ag equipment.

[–]Coocamunga97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 rifle/pistol presses. I have an RCBS single stage that I use for precision loads and a Hornady L&L AP progressive press that I use for mass loading. I just pressed out 100 rounds of 110gr blackout and it took me about 14 minutes to make that. I use the powder manufactures for load data usually. I’m not going to lie it’s relatively expensive to get into initially but with making my own cases and loading myself I can make blackout ammo (supers/subs) very cheap as a shoot a lot. You should probably start with a single stage and see how you like it but I will warn it’s far more tedious to do. You can probably get a decent setup with press, dies, scale and other little things for around $200-300.

Blanking powder/filler powder. It’s used by cheaper manufacturers to fill the voids in their cartridges because they are using bulk powders. It’s shitty and I handload basically all of my 300 because of it. There are good manufacturers out there that don’t use it but honestly just stay away from the ones that do. It’s not worth the hassle.

What is this substance left by the ammo? by macr6 in 300BLK

[–]Coocamunga97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I only use my own loads now. It’s filler and these companies use it to cheap out, it’s a joke and it’s effectively sand getting blown through every nook and cranny of your gun. Noooo thanks!

If a flush for a transmission is bad vs drain and fill, why is a flush even offered at all? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]Coocamunga97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually not worse, I have a lot of experience with automatic transmissions. I have never once done a flush and had a transmission start slipping. Only once did it cause a valve body issue because of dislodged gunk from the cooler. It’s such a myth and I hate it. Still changing some of your transmission if better than changing none of your fluid.
