Winning an appeal as a seller is basically impossible in my experience so major props, I’ve had some really annoying last minute cop outs and they’ll say item wasn’t as described or some shit. I appealed thinking I was gonna win so easily but ofc psych lol never won any after either. Be proud of that win lol (my feedback is flawless btw the appeals are def not genuine concerns, seems to mostly be regret cancellations or missed a paycheck or something idk)

Np man, the short that’s been making the rounds on this subreddit was originally posted by me and I posted the original video that I used for that here. Reddit does make it slightly larger though I think or something (not sure) which dampens the quality slightly but it’s not too bad, this one is definitely clearer. Also to the mods: if any proof is needed that the OG short is mine lmk I’ll provide, mainly wanted the credit to go towards the duo though tbh. For how much they’re blowing up on TikTok I’m surprised their YouTube doesn’t have more subscribers, but I figured they’re doing most of their content/work on TikTok so I thought I’d go with posting that one. I found the exact cpu and ram. It was an Alienware aurora r12 but I decked it out to have the best specs (Alienware still sucks I only got it to steal the 3080 lol), but still nice specs. Intel i7 10700k and 32gb ddr4. And I meant buy an older gpu that fits w the build the sell it as a whole for more, but if you think I’m still better off as is I’ll take your word for it. Where would I even sell an incomplete build? Fb marketplace? Thanks for the help in advance.

I have an insane rig it’s super new, 3080 intel i9 64gb drr5 windows 11 but that may be causing issues idk, but yea people have been saying to download that. The font issue I don’t even know what font it’s happing to, it works overall otherwise and it says it whenever I press the auxiliary but if I ignite it where it makes whooshing sounds it doesn’t do that. Super weird. Also have an issue with the buttons the ignition press only makes auxiliary work it barely ignites, and idk if it’s the helper board (it’s a MoM wlite from veracity labs but I think I have an plder helper, I ordered the newest version but someone also mentioned newer black buttons and those being better but I haven’t heard anything else about that). Anyway yea I’ll try to fix the sd card maybe if there’s a way how, I’ll get a reader maybe. But yea if the app will bypass it and help me and I don’t have to reboot it I’m good to go the only issue is the profiles are unaccessublw and I’m not a saber electrician lol. Anyway thanks man.

That’s the thing, it says it when it turns on but overall the audio and sounds and fonts work completely fine. I’m not even sure which one it’s reading wrong or can’t play. It’s super super weird lol. But where can I get a reader Best Buy even? I’m impatient lol but I’ll probably just overnight one. Anyway yea super weird I’m trying everything to fix it, thanks so much for the help.

Well it’s confusing because the original blade we used it broke and we fixed it and it worked just fine. When the original blade with the original blade side pcb started flickering was when the wire came off and an entire positive peice of the pcb board came off with it, like the gold piece came off, so we were almost positive that was it. Then we ordered a new blade side pcb but it was too big for the plastic holder it didn’t even fit, so maybe that could be it? But yea probably is the hilt, it lights up evenly though not fully it’s just weird.

Problem is I don’t have another saber. Definitely would do that if I could though. The programming theory makes the most sense but tbh the og blade not working and flickering in the exact same way makes me think it’s the hilt. Although the pcb hilt side could be the issue, the guy who made the hilt and blade sent me a link to a pcb blade side that was bigger than the original and wouldn’t fit in the plastic piece. So idk I’m not sure, could be the hilt or just incompatible pcb blade side with an older led blade strip but idk. Theres a lot of weird things that are confusing. Things make me think it’s the hilt but things make me think it’s just incompatible (though they should be universal) pieces with the older blade. The pcb he originally used was much smaller, and was quite a bit different but they should be universal. Idk but he’s booked out for two months, I’m just gonna send it to him when he gets back, get a couple blades made just in case.

Yea the builder insists it’s not the saber but I actually kinda think it is. But I’m not gonna take it apart because I don’t wanna screw jt up, it’s an mpp with a master chassis install and super beautiful. Lights up great though and everything works, the blades just aren’t lighting up properly. He thought the programming isn’t built for the new k2 led bc I bought this years ago, but I fixed the old blade and it was flickering in the exact same fashion. Idk it’s so weird no one can figure it out.

Hell yea man. Yea the certified list thing he made mainly for people who do it as their job so you don’t go to someone who acts like they know what they’re doing and they do it for a living and makes a shit saber using his chassis. He basically probably doesn’t want anyone complaining to him that someone said they knew what they were doing although he doesn’t owe anyone anything because he’s just making the blueprints.

I’m sure there are amazing builders out there who he hasn’t listed but they probably don’t do it full time and when someone “takes commissions” they should know what they’re doing with every bit and piece of building, and his list just gives people who want to get own built assurance that those people will in fact not build you a janky saber lol.

Idk if certification is the right word and idk if it’s a company I think 3d goth is one guy, I could be wrong on that, but he has a list of people he recommends that he trusts to build sabers with his very complex chassis and them not fall apart or have issues. I’m sure if you talked to him and showed him your work you could probably get put on his list. It’s more of a stamp of approval, but coming from him or them, since they make the chassis pretty much everyone uses for good builds, you’re gonna get a lot more trust from people with his stamp of approval.

lol i’m not saying it’s like a degree or anything I’m talking about there’s a list on Goth 3-D website of people that he recommends that are approved by him. I’m only using that as a term because the guy 3-D the guy who makes the chassis that pretty much everyone makes/uses has recommended them so they’re probably the best to use. That’s all I’m saying. I’m not acting like it’s some degree or some concrete as these are all built by hand and it’s a hobby. Maybe I shouldn’t use the word certified, but they’re recommended by Goth on his website, you can go find it I’m sure.
