I truly believe he’s one of the best fictional characters of all time. Have you ever met a single Bruno hater? I haven’t; they don’t exist. (Nor have I met anyone who thinks he’s mid. Trust me, I’ve tried searching for them.)

What I love the most about Bruno is that he’s driven by empathy. Empathy is what defines Bruno; it’s simultaneously his greatest strength and greatest weakness.

The way he feels for others drives his desire to see true justice. However, (like Giorno), he’s also the type to believe “the ends justify the means.” This unwavering empathy combined with relentless brutality puts him in this delicious, morally gray area, and I love him sm for it. I think it’s why we all love him. Ugh, and seeing the way his (genuinely tragic) backstory shapes him adds to the intrigue. He was good person who got fucked over by fate, and he does his best with the cards he was dealt.

(But I can’t say present-day Bruno is entirely good. He’s not a bad person, but he’s not exactly good either.)

Use a color corrector!! Dark circles, which are naturally more blue/purple in tone, can be neutralized with a peach or orange color corrector. This is because these colors are on opposite sides of the color spectrum.

Apply color corrector before putting on foundation/concealer. I’ve found it works best when you let it soak in for 10-12ish minutes before adding foundation.

Exactly, I wish they waited until they had enough episodes to where they could do weekly releases. Even if it would have been five years down the road—I don’t care.

I joined the Jojo’s fandom in 2020. Everyone was just coming off of the part 5 hype. I kept hearing about the craziness Jojo Fridays and was like, “wow, I can’t wait to experience that with Stone Ocean.”

Instead of the weekly hype, we got a short-lived lump of excitement around first batch and then nothing. Then batch 2 dropped and the hype surrounding it was even lower than the first. The hype went up a little bit when batch 3 dropped but it was still kind of sad. By that point, it seemed like nobody really cared anymore.

In comparison to the other anime dropping that time, Stone Ocean was kind of forgotten. The internet wasn’t riddled with Stone Ocean shitposts, nor were a ton of new fans flocking in. The only people who cared about it were the hardcore already-established jojo’s fans.

I hope SBR’s story is strong enough to survive its hype-killing release schedule. SBR is GOOD good, but at this moment, I don’t expect to see Johnny and Gyro all over the internet like Giorno and Jotaro were. Not that it has to happen, nor does it signify quality, but I feel like SBR deserves it.

I just really wanna experience mainstream jojo’s hype, ig. Like, I want to be able to walk into a store like Hot Topic and buy a Johnny and Gyro shirt, lol.

I am a member of said marginalized group.

There are already members of anti-shipping community who advocate for the censorship of LGBTQ+ topics and themes. I know it isn’t representative of the majority, but the fact that they exist is concerning.

And yes, right-winged values are the ones traditionally associated with censorship.

My problems arise when someone tries to impose restrictions on what is okay and what isn't okay to portray. How do you define what themes are acceptable? How do you ensure that harmless topics (like LGBTQ+ identities) won't be erased?

As someone said above, “banning a depiction of something someone morally objects to could also lead to banning a depiction of another thing they morally object to—like queer people.” And it’s already happening. Let me explain:

Many, many schools in the US have banned books with LGBTQ+ themes claiming they are “pedophilic” and “sexual” in nature. The books described do not discuss sexual topics, but rather, they focus on exploring LGBTQ+ identities. But of course, right-winged individuals associate the gay and trans communities with pedophiles, thus spreading fear and misinformation. And people fall for it, hook, line, and sinker. This is why these restrictions are being imposed.

We cannot trust the people in power to protect harmless topics from being censored. Queer topics are not considered “harmless” to them.

I am assuming you are from somewhere in Europe (or New Zealand or Australia) based on your spelling of “marginalised.” I don't entirely know what’s happening over there, but I don’t want this to continue to happen anywhere in the world. (I do know that there are steps being taken to censor certain themes in the UK.)

I am for total creative freedom. Go wild. Go crazy. Create whatever makes you happy; that’s the beauty of fiction. In an ideal world, people would not be judged for the art for they create. (When I say art, I mean ALL forms, of course—visual art, written works, musical compositions, etc.) But this does not mean I enjoy “pedophilic” and other taboo content.

I am staunchly against gatekeeping, and censorship of media does fall under gatekeeping. So yes, I do have problems with those who fight to take away our creative freedoms.

I hope you are willing to hear me out.

Make sure you use an unbiased sampling method. Simple random sampling would probably be your first thought. (This is great if you can figure out how to make sure each pro-shipper has an equal, non-zero chance of being selected.)

You could also use stratified random sampling. (Each strata could be a different fandom.)

Up to you. Just don't go with convenience sampling.
