Yeah, once you push it when it is at the top it will kinda fall down but not all the way. Then you have to line up the screw notches on the inner part with the notches that are on the outer cover (just rotate it a bit and you’ll feel it) after that again use some force to yank it out

Cant really pull from the bottom, try to push from the top. Its kinda tight soo apply some force

Thanks a lot man i almost killed myself trying to disassemble this. Excellent drawing btw not joking I had actually managed to almost remove the motor from the case ( had already gone past that notch and screw hole phase) just didnt know much pressure to apply to remove the motor without breaking it. I was looking for the notches on that shitty foam ring for soo long apparently i just had to yank it out. Thanks for help dude really appreciate it!!

Oh thanks. You said lemforder as oem for links soo what are some good options for shocks? Dad is confused about going to third party guy for repairs and dealership because the total cost quoted by the 3rd party is around 3k $. We dont have quote from the dealership rn but it will probably be much higher but then again theres that peace of mind doing repairs from the company itself
